On one copy of this video, I saw the GAS Change to instant star, to a test screen, to instant star, test screen, and back to instant star. Is that normal?
Nickelodeon completely fucked itself in the ass when they changed the format from the way we saw it to the way these 'kids' see it. I use 'kids' in quotations because they're not kids, they're mini adults!
if they brought back nick gas id hope that they would just show re runs of the old shows from the 90s on up. if they started the game shows up again there would be new hosts, mostly likely added changes to the show, and most horribly a new theme song. nobody wants another stupid mainstream show right?

They're going to bring back some of the classic Nick Game Shows (Marc Summers's Double Dare, GUTS with Mike O'Maley and Legends of The Hidden Temple with Kirk Fogg) and 90s Nickelodeon shows starting July 25th. Early Monday through Friday morning at Midnight and 4:00 PM weekends.
at least nicktoons network still exsists. but i fucking miss nick gas, and all the nicktoons :( but fairly odd parents and spongebob are still aring, and you can watch hey arnold and rugrats on netflix :D

Nickelodeon GaS became an extension of Nickelodeon Studios. The programs that were broadcast were produced at the Orlando FL facility. The closing of Nickelodeon Studios "orphaned" GaS. The channel was reduced to airing repeats of a small number of shows with each episode airing multiple times a day.
Game shows are not as popular with today's Nick viewer as they were with "90's Kids". Nickelodeon is a kid's network and is no longer looking to attract 90's Kids. So GaS probably won't be back.
What WAS the point of this channel? An entire network for reruns of 5 old game shows that NOBODY remembers, with no commercials whatsoever? They should've just made a Classic Nick channel or something. This was a waste of space.
Think about it: Even if they brought back GaS, it would have a new logo.
If you have Teennick on your service, look at the logo. If nick gass were to come back, the logo would probably would look like it. Plus, you wouldn't be seeing the ID bumper on it either. You know?
@statefairshows actually,it'd be like NickToons. Notice this,some of the bumpers from old NickToons that airs just has the new logo edited in. You'd see simular bumpers,but a new logo. I also heard rumor once they would call it Nick Games or something like that.
@classicnickfan1416 its probably not true,that's a rumor I've heard since the Nickelodeon change back in 2009,they claimed it was gonna take over NickToons,but I don't see it happening.

@mandyoakstv I think they should make one petition for the Nick Rewind channel and combine all of the signiture totals. Dunno how everyone else feels,but it would make things a bit easier. =/ I signed one sometime back.
Reason:Dish network was the last cable provider to hold the channel after 15 monthos of the channel loop Dish network decided to cut the transmission to Nick G.A.S and replaced it with CN West
