Iv been visiting Nice at least 3 times a year for the last 5 years and never had a problem with the place, Waynes bar is great fun iv been in there many times with my son and husband, Im a middle age female and its very safe for women its a wonderfull place.
Hate the place so much i'm gonna leave another comment. Contrary to the video people don't walk the streets on their own late a night. A mate of mine got mugged and whenever i've been out have always been dragged in to walkin girls back to their place because their scared. Algerian scumbags everywhere aswell as prostitutes who hassle everyone who walks by. Blokes dressed up as women(fuckin freaks)always one fat bastard down Rue Grosso! Beggers and homeless everywhere.
I tend to agree - it is not as safe as these guys claim. Take Place Messina - great fun but all those skateboarders, break dancers from God knows where all run out of money very soon and are not above a little bump and run to get it.
Waynes is a shit pub! Not one proper club in place. Full of scumbags aswell. A quarter of the population are over 60. More dogs than people and they shit everywhere. Most people overate it and say that its class. They all say its brilliant in the summer but can't imagine how as it'll just be the same shithole only sunny. The beach is a stony mess aswell. The clothes shops are chavy as fuck. Old town is overpriced to the hilt 3e for a can a coke, 150e for a shit pair of jeans. Irelands way better
Now - one very neat thing about Nice are the HIGH HEELS . No good looking woman goes out without 4 inch stilleto heels - even at 8AM. Now, some may be hookers, especially in Monaco where maybe 60% are "escorts", but they still are worn by very respectable older women too.
