This is actually my favorite HuCard game for TurboGrafx-16. I loved the tension of wondering where the monsters were-- if you played with headphones on, the sound of the motion tracker pinging in whichever ear (based on where the enemies were in relation to you) was very reminiscent of the movie Alien. Once the different sections of the station started getting closed off, the game got difficult and pretty scary-- you could die at any time and the game made me jump quite a bit!
I loved this game when I was a kid. I worked so hard to beat it, really a challenging game. Especially in later levels where the chambers go through a lockdown sequence.
One thing about this game I could never get over was Leon. He looks like a woman to me. Kind of like a lady masquerading as a dude. If you look closely, you can even see a cleavage line.
ugh. so basically your walking around the decks of enterprise of Next Gen Star Trek and shooting random ugly shits that fly at you. LAME. I assumed lame from FPS on console that isn't as powerful as SNES would be bad guess I was right
I didn't even find the game that fun back during the TG16 days myself. Just seemed like random wandering around and shooting the occasional alien until they overwhelmed you and you got that fun trip back to the computer room to start again. Yay! : )
Phantasy Star is one of the best old-school rpgs out there, IMO. I love it. This game is tedious, repetetive, and boring. Thanks god first-person shooters got much better over time.
This is coming out on the Wii's Virtual Console some time in July. GameSpot billed it as an "early first-person shooter". I may get it purely for that reason. It doesn't look awful, by far. Might be fun.
Sorry the video is so short, but there's just not a lot to this game. It's not a great game, but it's got a simple charm to it if you like these types of exploration games.

this guy playing sucks...you gotta have moves and hot weapons.

This game was long and repetitive. Still, there were some moments that kinda made me jump (despite the dated graphics and sound).

Don't know how I ever finished this weird game. It's not hard, just frustrating as hell. Also, a little bit of yaoi tension between the two dudes.

What does this have to do with Silent Deburgers?
Phantasy Star is more fun now days with all the strategy guides and maps for the game nowdays on the internet.

In his description he compared the game to PS. But seriously try playing it without any help. Dragon Warrior 1 was better.
