but I though they were coproducing it, I meant, is the same place and all that. The uses of the shots in the original are so much better, just take a look at the sequence where dwight frye arrives to the castle. There u got shots by angulation, it places characters in psychollogical levels, for example. Spanish version uses medium shots where characters are both into the same frame.
the secuence is so static, in fact the new is better the only thing who ruind that take is the face of a insane dracula. if logusi play dracula in this version this could be the best without dubt.
It's really hard to see this film being spanish, especially after seeing the original version of Tod Browning with Bela Lugosi. Spanish version is such a ridiculous piece of shit with those actors. Although it doesn't stop being interesting to see actors trying to perform the voices when they used to work in silent films. At least funny, i guess. (03.51 lolllll)

For example, this are more longer and have more scenes for explain some plot holes of the bela lugosi version, second the production is complety superior, i now i edit this movie and some scenes are much better than the other vercion, the cast is quite good but the biggest fail is the act of carlos villarias, he is very irregular, some times he is great some other hilarius.
@edgarivanrivero I agree with you. If Lugosi was in it and Edward Van Sloan who was Van Helsing, this one would be the best by far. I love the fog in this one and the lighting.
@Srmisterio In recent years this version has become more highly praised by some than the English language version. The Spanish crew had the advantage of watching the dailies from the English crew's version when they came in for the evening and they would figure out better camera angles and more effective use of lighting in an attempt to "top" it. As a result, this version's supporters consider it to be much more artistically effective.
