fuck favre,he used to be my favorite qb before he retired twice...lost all respect...now rodgers is my fav qb not just bc hes better than favre but he is an awesome guy with a shit ton of talent
@theninjamage460 Who gives a shit? The Packers are the defending Super Bowl champions, meanwhile the Broncos are a bottom feeding team with an incompetent front office.
funny thing is the week prior to this they played washington and it was a lil rainy...but he threw two picks to sean taylor r.i.p. and they said his arm strength was leaving.....he threw the first bomb to james jones then this one to jennings in o.t....pretty good moment.....
Cornheiser!!!! I prob spelled it wrong, but, what a call !!!! I'd put you back on the NFL commentator cast. They just can't make the rest of em look so dumb. lol
@Trainking922 : And that's the way people should look at it. The only time in recent history (possibly ever) where you had one HOF QB followed by another was with Montana and Young. It's blessing to be able to have two great QBs back to back like that. Favre had his legacy and Rodgers is carving his own legacy.
Man I remember this, in my fantasy league we have a weekly high points pool for $60. I had Favre as my QB and going into OT I needed 80 yds and a TD from him to win high points and I thought for sure he wouldnt get it and I wouldnt win high points...then he throws and 82 yd TD on the first play of OT...I went nuts lol
of course not. why would you complain when you won? OT in football is poorly set up though. they should just play a whole quarter instead of sudden death. sudden death gives the receiving team the advantage automatically. ot only really works for hockey. baseball plays a full inning allowing both teams at bat. football should even up the odds a bit.
Yeah it was a badass season, until like i said, that playoff game. I was almost sure we were goin to the super bowl that year and when they went into overtime, i was waiting to see a Favre miracle but i saw the other side of Brett Favre, forcing a horrible pass which was picked off
i know what you mean dude...2007 was special for me...but that pick....Driver was open,,,Favre just missed him....i want to cry just thinking about it
what sucks for every time he attempts 1 of those passes he throws about 10 interceptions resulting in 2 or 3 losses. The interception during the playoff game against the eagles springs to mind as a big boner of his.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i was at this game and he threw two long td passes! with his on again, off again retirement he caused the rift with the Packers now he joins the FUCKING VIKINGS ! Fuck him i hope he gets hurt and the Packers KILL THE VIKINGS TWICE.This is nothing more than trying to extract revenge on the packers management what the Packers should do is NEVER RETIRE HIS NUMBER !!!!!!!
ahahhahahaha mother fucking i hope he doesnt retire a packer, dumb fucks, i hope he retires a vikings, packers don't deserve a other hall of famer on hthere teams. packer thought they were goinng to get other hall of famer but they fucked themseleves hahahaah
What are you talking about. You really think he is going to go into the hall of fame as a viking? Thats like saying montana should have gone in as a Chief or Unitas should have gone in as a Charger. He's going to play with them for one year and miss the playoffs.
You are a moron. How many championships do you have? Oh yeah that's right, none. We have 12, you have a lot of work to do. Better get started. Who cares about Brent Farve? He went to the enemy. I got no use for his Cajun fat ass.
Fascinating camprandle. I'll give you the 90's SB, but please tell us more about all the championships GB won that even my grandpa is not old enough to remember. I can't believe people are still bragging about shit that happened during the days of world war, it's fucking hilarious.
How about we talk about all the heartbreaking playoff losses Favre was the cause of?
Rams 6 Ints. I repeat 6 INTS!
Falcons 3 Ints. lost to Vick at home
Vikings 4 Ints. Moss moons crowd
Eagles--throws one up for grabs in OT to Dawkins
Giants 07-- again, throws one up for grabs in OT.
I'm assuming you're a Viking fan, you will find out soon enough about the heartbreak he will bring your team when he makes an ill-advised throw in the post season with the game on the line. Just wait!
@stinkyduke Yeah, I saw it too many times to realize it was more than just a coincidence. I think his emotions get the best of him in big games and he tries to do too much.
I love him but you are correct. There is no reason to literally just throw it right to the defense. He may be thinking too much and just says"screw it, this throw has worked all season it'll work now" but it doesnt! If he can't fix that, he will never win a SB again..no matter how loaded his team is.
yea tell aaron rodgers to do that. ughh....f the packers for wanting to "move on". they were one play from being in the superbowl, and they said they need to improve for the longrun. so what do they do? get rid of brett favre. they want to be good in 10 years, even know they basically made the superbowl...
Rodgers did AMAZING in his first season. Compared to the other teams in the NFL that have been trying to find a great quarterback for years now. Rodgers replaced a legend just fine. He WILL BECOME HIS OWN LEGEND. Rodgers will have a much better year than Favre.
Coming from a lifelong Packers fan, no matter what happens to the man's reputation, moments like these will never lose their magic. Brett, I wish you would've handled this better and stayed retired last year, but what's done is done.
rodgers had nothing to do with them losing most of those games, it was their terrible defense. they've even quoted aj hawk saying that last season was the d's fault. not to say i don't love favre, but im a packer fan first, and rodgers had a hell of a year last year.

Fox News is famous for lying and blowing stories out of proportion. I would not take what they say at a face value. On top of everything the Packers blew out the lions, so if this story is true what kind of advice did Brett Favre give the lions..... I also remember how the media was trying to get Favre on the cell phone issue which turned out to be totally bogus. Guys don't judge to quickly.....
I hate the Broncos and the Packers, I think it was when Shanahan started doing that pussy ass shit of calling timeouts right beofre game deciding field goals was when I started hating them. I hate the Pack cuz of what they did to the 49ers for like 3 straight seasons. Put all hating aside, after the Broncos got that last second game tying field goal to put it in OT I wanted to see them lose and this was absolutely awesome how the Packers did it.
fuck favre,he used to be my favorite qb before he retired twice...lost all respect...now rodgers is my fav qb not just bc hes better than favre but he is an awesome guy with a shit ton of talent

favre did nothing... you can pretty much kick the ball to jennings and he'll catch it and put it in the endzone.
