The audio is being swapped for something less "energetic". Unfortunately I didn't have audio from the exhaust that would work with the video (wind noise, out of sync, playback speed, etc.).
@andrestnt: This was shot with a pair of GoPro HD cameras. Their "closed back" does a fair job with wind buffeting, but then there is nothing interesting to hear. Their open back is great for recording exhausts, but can not be in the wind. I find that the best place is directly behind the trunk shooting backwards. One of my other videos (Pontiac G8 Cruise) has exhaust sounds recorded in this way, but tends to just sound like a lawnmower (or worse when the video is played at a faster rate).
I'm telling you this, I would absolutely love to take my stang out to colorado and drive around the mountain roads all day.
