Ciao, ho provato vari OS (ubuntu, lubuntu, debian, linux mint), ma nessuno di essi è riuscito veramente ad impressionarmi, e poi ognuno aveva qualche piccolo difetto, che per un utente non molto esperto come me diventa un problema insormontabile. Cerco un OS semplice da usare e da configurare, che non richiede grandi abilità nell'uso del pc: secondo te sabayon può essere la scelta giusta? Grazie!
io proprio sabayon non riesco a usarlo, uso tranquillamente tutte le altre distro Linux, ma sabayon mi rimane impossibile.
lo installo sul pc, finita l'installazione lo avvio, mi dice che devo aggiornare i pacchetti e di dare l'ok, ma sotto al messaggio ci sono solo 2 scelte, una ignora e l'altra esci!!!!!!!!!!
ci ho rinunciato! preferisco mandriva, ubuntu o opensuse
@Simike87 Cmq tutto è relativo se ti trovi bene con ubuntu ok, lo uso pure io ma adesso qui a casa utilizzo funtoo e ti assicuro ci vuole ancora più impegno.
Sai come va, è tutta questione di passione se ti tira superi le difficoltà se ritieni che non vale la pena usa altro.
Dopo tante distro provate....adesso proviamone una ITALIANA ! Dalle recensioni sembra OK ..... Speriamo che la mia ignoranza in materia LINUX (lo uso da qualche anno) mi faccia desistere dal tenerlo installato sul pc !

NOOOOOOOO! tamarrissime!!!! ma una cosa stile "minimal" no? :P comunque sia, complimenti...finalmente qualcosa di italiano che ci fa onore! :D
awesome, i'm downloading right now. i've never tried it before, but i'm looking for a replacement because i'm SO sick of ubuntu. it'll either be this or Fedora 12 when it releases. i'm probably leaning toward Sabayon because i want my distro to be more bleeding edge (and i've heard good things about the package system). i guess it all depends on how well Sabayon recognizes my hardware.
I'm having troubles logging in now that I updated the package. Let me explain....
After I installed 5.0 on the hard drive after reviewing the live CD A button on the task bar told me I had 859 updates. So I updated and after that I didn't notice any changes so I assumed that I had to reboot to get the changes to take effect. Well after I rebooted I get back to the sign in screen and now it will not take my password. It acts like it will but then kicks me back to the start screen. What gives?
@lordcron sabayon is "bleeding edge". this means that there's a good chance that updates will BREAK your system if you just blindly update everything. my suggestion to you is this: download the latest ISO on their site, and only update packages you need. if you're not sure about the update, DON'T UPDATE! or at least read up about the update or wait a couple weeks to ensure it won't hose your computer. hope that helps.
Sabayon 6 è il miglior sistema operativo linux al momento. La Microsoft e la Apple lo dovrebbero temere.

Yes, it's stable. In Linux-speak, it's a binary distribution of Gentoo, with the option of building from source using Portage.
