instead of putting your weather front on the grille, cut 2 holes in the cardboard one high, one low, about 4x2in and loosen your upper rad supports, slip the cardboard down there between the rad and core support and tighten them up again, makes a huge difference, blocking the grille really does nothing for the engine with the degree of cold we have here.
if you hold the gas puddle half way down while you crank it it start better

thats when gelling up start then if he dont plug them in man are tractor about did that and my ford f250 6.0 gelled up it sucks like hell

Plugging in does NOTHING to prevent gelling. It only warms the block / cylinders.
I run diesel treat and have never had it gel up, but it wasn't really cold enough to gel today anyway.
