great one! i like the words you use in this. i actually had to look up "choler"! :) the verses you posted are important, because some people see anger as sin, but anger is not sin itself. i would say Jesus purging the temple (and Jesus was without sin!) would prove that.

True, His anger was justified. And in that case He also fulfilled a prophecy: "Zeal for Your house will consume me".
Oh yeah: Jesus also did not sin when He forgave the ones dividing His clothes.
My conclusion: when He was angry, His anger was not based on "self". When He forgave, it was not based on the merit or remorse of the transgressor.
