  • Using micro-economic policies at a macro level just doesn't make sense. Trying to apply your home budget model for the nation doesn't make sense either. And yet almost everyone brings their naive understanding of small budgets to the federal level and get awed by what appears to be fiscal irresponsibility.

  • DEBT IS NOT GOOD,WHY EVEN TALK ABOUT IT??this is what led as to the imf(greece)and we are not happy about it!!at least our robers politicians cannot steal us anymore cause there are no money!!and everyone starts to understand that private works better!!!

  • Why is it okay for the Government to borrow but we should save? The one question nobody ever asks is WHO is the country indebted to? Who do we owe interest too?

  • To keep the Canadian money value, Canada has to destroy money in circulation. The government has to stop borrowing money. Otherwise, it will lead to hyperinflation and lots of saving accounts will be wiped out.

  • what a lying bitch

  • you are absolutely not supposed to spend in a recession, cut budgets in half to get out

  • yah this girl is dumb... were doing exactly what the U.S is doing

  • That woman is a moron. And so are the people who agree with her.

  • Less government please.

  • If anything this shows that what taxpayers have done the last years has been wasted. Now our deficit is equal to what it was, and growing...

  • The government treasury should be full of treasure, not debt.

In economic terms, production is good and consumption is relatively bad, thus, it's best for the government to be as small as possible.

This woman does a good job arguing. It's too bad she is wrong.
