The Hindu and British guy make me sick. The Hindu makes stupid remarks with his "we didn't treat the muslims right". And that Brit with his "we couldn't stop the violence". Nonsence!! They wanted teh violence. They delibraly started the violence.
My grandfather's all brothers and sisters were killed. They were in Quetta. Few of our uncles were in Army n our family were escorted but most of the people were killed in Pakistan per the stories i have heard. For muslims, it was about pure pakistan free of any kafirs. Millions of hindus were in far south west of pakistan in Sindh. For them it was an ordeal to travel such a distance and most of them accepted Islam to live. Their grand children now living in pak would be hating hindus. Irony..

im syed yawar abbas from cyprus 003579668824.i m very intersting abot whole subcontinent.wht happend tht bloody game was been played n whole india im surprise to c why hindu sikhs killd to muslims and muslims killd to both.i will say when im sitting n europe, tht these 3ree nations r foolsh,cruel.dishonest. i feel shame tht im indian r muslim. i want to c my country like other country happy ,peacefull .
I see that same sadness in my friends grandmothers eye, lost all her family in Lahore besides her sister, l know another Sikh family suffered the same in Rawalpindi, another in Karachi and one more in Peshawar. All lost most of their family through mindless violence, there needs to be a partition musueM
I don't think it was biased at all, it's all facts and stories from all 3 communities were conveyed, it was the call for direct action in Kolkata that starred the violence and then it just spread like wildfire, in a sense you could say Muslims starred it but in the end all 3 were equally responsible
i have heared this beofre old people say what have we got with this partition.
Just take a look at pakistan how much the muslims have progressed besides of all the martial law, curroption etc,was it possible in united india that muslims may be able to progress so much under rule of hindus?
@irtezashaikh and how much have u progresses?...that supposedly the ''hindus'' were holding u back?....muslims live here...perfectly happy.....u guys needed a reason to separate...out of greed and arrogance....and even now...u look to justify this stupid act by that asshole jinnah.......by using lame useless reasons..that any sensible person..will know are shit..and weak......u guys are nothing.....just sucking chinas dick now....proud of yourself?...
This documentary is too biased(IMHO). Anyone has the right to disagree with me. No offense to anyone. But this documentary just shows one side of the story. They only allow the other side to say a few lines. The Muslims are typically portrayed as the Ooga Boogas. The Sikhs are shown as the biggest victims, who only retaliated in defense. And the Hindus are completely left out from the violence business. I'm not saying that things shown in these videos never happened.
But being from a family who went through all this and witnessed everything, I can safely say that they have not shown so many things. This documentary puts all the blame on Muslims and paints a horrible picture of them by showing those killing mobs. But only shows one Sikh mad man who claims that they only retaliated in self defense. Also they mention the name 'Muslims' bluntly when they talk about the killings. But when they briefly mention Muslims being killed, no names are mentioned.
My family members came to Pakistan from different parts of Luddhiyana. Many of them did not make it. And those who did, told the most horrible stories of the brutality of Sikhs and Hindus. They used to come on trains. And trains after trains, came to Pakistan with mostly dead bodies. With human limbs or internal organs scattered all over in the carriages. Those were simply heart breaking stories. The truth is that, people of all religions slaughtered each other. It was a mad mad affair.
(Part 4) They all killed each other. So one must not put the entire blame on one party. We should all accept it and move on. And try to make our future relations better. And for that, we must stop making biased, hate spreading material like this. We all made mistakes. But let's not repeat them again.
It doesnt matter who started it.......bottom line is this lead to loss of human lives.
Whether those who were killed were muslims , hindus or sikhs is insignificant compared to the fact that they lost their lives for no fault of their own
@rishisimply My friend, that is exactly what I meant. But what I also said was that, we must not repeat that again. Documentaries like these are only good as long as they are not biased, or hate spreading. Unfortunately, this one is not so neutral.
ANYONE GOING TO ADDRESS THAT THERE WAS NO JUST COMPENSATION OF LAND HOME ROOF MONEY CASH. THIS WOULD NEVER EVER EVER OCCUR WITHIN THE BORDERS OF THE UK---
im a 13 year old sikh boy livin in uk i guess u could say im rich i go to a private school and i still used to not completely believe in waheguru but after watching this i guess its changed my life thank u so much xx
many many thanks for uploading this video..it is very emotional and indeed based on reality..partion was worse thing for both india and pakistan...it must not have been happened
No matter what you are Hindu, Muslim or Sikh, you have to watch this.....after seeing all the parts, Only i could say political benefits resulted in unnecessary voilance...FUCK politicians....
After watching all these tragic episodes, i thought i will come across with very nice comments from both Pakistanis and Indians about partition, but i saw your comment. So i will answer you as my elders answered your elders :
Fuck you Indian, YOU are a retard Bastard!!!
(i am still not abusing ur religion as Islam prohibits Muslims from doing this)
Just look at the face of this artist, how deep was the pain? Commentators from India have agreed here that "
" it was the hate towards Muslims that lead to Partitioning of India". That was the only reason which built the mistrust between the Muslims and Hindus and eventually lead to creation of a separate Muslim land. Your forefathers did/could not understand this thin and same is with YOU now. Unless you CHANGE your mentality,
Muslims in South Asia will not change their approach. You call it what ever you like, terrorism, radicalization, whatever but keep in mind, you have seen one partition, but the way your approach is, i could see another partition within India for a separate Muslim land. InshaAllah...

How was the situation of the Christians in the Punjab when these mass-murders occurred? There was no mention of them in the whole documentary.
