So basically they never care to dig in deeper into history than what they are told in that myth of "pre-Islamic Iran is good" and "Islamic Iran is bad". This is why all he mentions are Cyrus cylinder and "human rights", because these aspects are contained in that narrative.

It shows how those racist American scholars severely altered Iranian historiography in the 1920s, praising secular Persianist/Aryanist supremacy (in demerit of anything Arab or Islamic) and pre-Islamic Iran, in order to raise the price of the Iranian archaeological treasures that they themselves harvested there and profited from.

@Standuble They include the Quran yes, and genuine hadiths that Shia scholars consider as genuine - since we are dealing with Iran in this video :) You can search in Wikipedia to see which are these hadiths. These hadiths include the sayings of the Imams.

For example, if you want to prove that Islam proposes for a government to destroy all opposing viewpoints (through violence), then you can try to prove it from the axiom of Islamic governance taught in Imam Ali's "Epistle to Malik Ashtar".

Iranian Propaganda is "truthful" ? Iranian media is the most biased and incorrect peace of "journalism" and media I've ever seen. "Moderates" (mediocre) would most times be pessimistic, whining, and borrowing Western dull ideas, whereas fundamentalists (faithful) would always be offering with optimism and confidence something new and interesting from which we Westerners have got a lot to learn.
