There's something that doesn't seem to fit here.. why the fine art's student seems to know a little bit better about history than the political sciences one?
@AkaiTsukiShimitsu Because in Iran, secularists like this political sciences guy only know about an Iranian historiography borrowed from Arthur Pope and Richard Nelson-Frye that talks of how great the pre-Islamic Iran was. So basically they never care to dig in deeper into history than what they are told in that myth of "pre-Islamic Iran is good" and "Islamic Iran is bad". This is why all he mentions are Cyrus cylinder and "human rights", because these aspects are contained in that narrative.
@AkaiTsukiShimitsu I recommend anyone interested on Iran to read Talinn Grigor's "(Re)Framing Rapid Modernities: American Historians of Iranian Architecture." It shows how those racist American scholars severely altered Iranian historiography in the 1920s, praising secular Persianist/Aryanist supremacy (in demerit of anything Arab or Islamic) and pre-Islamic Iran, in order to raise the price of the Iranian archaeological treasures that they themselves harvested there and profited from.
The film Iranium is funded by a pro-israeli organization called The Clarion Fund. Their purpose is to brainwash Americans about issues of national security. They sent out 28 million free DVDs for their last film titled "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West" They are affiliated with Aish HaTorah an Ashkenazi organization with religious zionist philosophy. They seek the endorsement of John McCain who wants to bomb Iran with nukes.
@nokia5095007 Islam wants peace through destruction or submission of opposing viewpoints. It's peace would come at the expense of all else. Not so different from what Hitler wanted.
@Standuble Can you prove what you say from the academic tenets of Islam?
Or just through fallacious arguments in which you represent Islam through CIA terrorist movements, CIA-backed Arab tyrannies, and biased claims of media "experts"?
@Standuble They include the Quran yes, and genuine hadiths that Shia scholars consider as genuine - since we are dealing with Iran in this video :) You can search in Wikipedia to see which are these hadiths. These hadiths include the sayings of the Imams.
For example, if you want to prove that Islam proposes for a government to destroy all opposing viewpoints (through violence), then you can try to prove it from the axiom of Islamic governance taught in Imam Ali's "Epistle to Malik Ashtar".
@Standuble I advise you if you want to prove that Islamic governance is evil as you claim, then if you have a sincere interest for truth, you can study Imam Ali's Epistle to Malik Ashtar. This is the axiomatic teaching for Muslims in Iran on how to establish a canonical Islamic government. If you find this text promotes the violent crushing of people with different views, then you can prove your point. But if there is absence of such a thing, then you are welcomed to correct your misperceptions.
@Standuble Good. You may Google for "Hazrat Ali's Famous Epistle to Malik Ashtar", and the first link will let you read it online. It begins in "The Richest Treasure".
If you know the "prisoner's dilema" (game theory) than having 50% of the population to vote so that an election counts actually DECREASES the deomcratic power or the population. As long as they can't agree to boycott the vote or to vote for a moderate candidate they will be unable to block the vote and they will be unable to make the moderat candidate be elected.
@MsBionomics Houston to the wacko in the spaceship: "The 50% of population" is different to the 50% of ELIGIBLE VOTERS. 85% of ELIGIBLE VOTERS voted in the 2009 elections of Iran.
Your masters have briefed you weak propaganda. You try to claim Iran is evil/obscure because it doesn't allow people below 15 years of age (+25% of the population) and illiterate people (20% of the population, a blessing from the Shah times you long for) to vote. Reality check: All the planet is then evil/obscure.
I find it ironic they bring up Cyrus and Darius. How many slaves, Greeks, minorities were crushed to death by these two monarchists. Remember friends, a monarch, can never entitle human rights, that's sheer propaganda right there. A monarch is a usurper of human rights, if anything.
The male in this video, is an example of an opportunist. He's ready to die against Iran, but he's not ready to work for our country. He's not a Muslim, and he doesn't care about our country, only for his own pockets and wealth.
Yes it is. I myself get paid many barrels of oil. At least our government propaganda is truthful, not like your Western government propaganda (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, BBC, CNN, etc.) which is on the side of lies and lies and slaughtering of millions of innocents to feed itself.
Iranian Propaganda is "truthful" ? Iranian media is the most biased and incorrect peace of "journalism" and media I've ever seen. All of Iranian programs are filled with Islamic content to control over peoples minds and actions. Now I admit, we in the west have many sources of the news, some quite biased (e.g. Fox) but at least we enjoy sense of freedom of speech and press and don't imprison local and foreign journalist when they report the truth.
@CanadianLiberal10 I also used to think Iranian was the most biased media. Until I went there, opened eyes, and realized the fanaticism of our Western media. It's not about who's biased and who's not (are you so naive to think media systems worth billions pursue no ideology?), but WHAT ARE THEY BIASED FOR and how they inform their bias. Iran transparently shows their bias is religion, they clearly present their ideal. Our fanatic Western media veils its purposes and presents itself as "neutral".
@germanicus24 "veils its purposes and presents itself as 'neutral'", great comment on the US media.
And this was a lovely video, thanks for introducing us to "Revolution in Motion". I actually liked both of the people in this clip. I mean compared with Bill O'Reilly et al... they both seem like masters of sense and rationality.
@pejvak1950 All of the Governments of the World need Democracy so the can spend everything to please the people, this process of debt does need to go everywhere. This process is an excellent way of spreading abundant amounts of religious fundamentalism throughout the World for some future generation to experience, because mass-impoverishment is an excellent path to a displeased population.
The fact that many have been fooled by fanatic secularists to wear green clothes doesn't mean they have been forced to do so. They themselves chose to be lazy minded and follow the Iranian mafia and pathetic runaway traitors like yourself.
so is it mostly only the rich people who are seculars and non practicing muslims? not hating on them cuz they could practice however they wana practice.....just curious
Nah, it is not an issue of money as capitalism and marxism. It is simply an issue of spiritual inclinations. Some in Iran tend to the world of the beasts, while others aspire to God. It is regardless of their material possessions.
There are all sorts of people everywhere. Iranians are no chosen people, they just did the right thing once, when they emancipated. Now it is up to them to keep up to that demanding quest, and if they give in to the cultural warfare best summarized in the Israeli academicist myth "fundamentalists (faithful) are evil, moderates (mediocre) are good", then it will only be against their own interests.
im glad that there are smart iranian muslims cuz i was beginning to think that most iranian(besides the goverment) hated islam.....i dont completely support the government of iran tho cuz there very extreme so iran should have a more moderate islamic republic, but not as secular and islam-hating as some iranians seem
It is natural that Western media makes the Iranian government look evil and randomly extreme. They would do that with anyone who is their enemy and exposing their own bad inspirations.
The more demonized people like Ahmadinejad and Khamenei are, and the more heroic hypocrites like Mousavi and Khatami are shown, the more it indicates how fundamentalist (faithful) Muslims are the real resistance to the tyrants of our world.
No, but a nationalist worshiper of oil emirate anti-Islamic tyrannies which secure the slaughtering of fellow Muslims throughout the Middle East does.
I am sure some 5 of your 22 subscribers, who would be equally intoxicated with fitna as you, will be interested to hear what such a person has to say on representation of Islam.
Me, I would much rather stick to real Sunni scholars like Deedat who praised the Islamic Revolution and called your sickness "a sickness of the devil".
1) The way she talks makes complete sense and is perfectly reasonable and a beautiful alternative outlook.
2) If she as a university graduate student got such words and views from Iranian TV that means Iranian TV contrary to other media, is well worth watching.
3) Your disgusting manners, violence, and terrorist ways show what your secularist artificial movement made in the Washington-London-Tel-Aviv axis has to offer to Iranians: More backwards secularist Nothingness.
What do you mean backward secularist nothingness? The most advanced countries are secular, and the most advanced countries in terms of democracy and citizenship values I think are the scandinavian countries, which has the highest number of atheists in the world.
Look at the muslim world today, and tell me which is the most backwards. And don't just blame it on western imperialism, because South Korea, China and to a degree Japan was also victims of that, and look at them now.
Muslim world today: Taken over by secularist dictatorship and tyrannies imposed from the secularist West. Look at it, do you have eyes? Egypt, Saudia, Morocco, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, everywhere you look there is a secularist dictatorship after another imposed. Look at Pakistan, look at Iraq. All countries that sided with Western imperialism and now have been raped to the core. Look at Japan (where I live), and how the people can't get rid of foreign military bases indeed.
The highest number of Atheists, and the highest suicide rates too. Congratulations Scandinavia. The highest number of Atheists, and the highest dependency on Middle Eastern oil, reason why the entire region is ruled by bloody dictatorships that serve your leaders while having to pretend to be Muslim just to not be taken over by 90% of Muslim populations that live in ruin and have to migrate to Europe in mass to escape from the living hell your comforts force them into.
How come no one calls america a terrorist? Americans are invading countries to suck out their natural resources. Like they have in iraq and the reason, supoposedly having weapons of mass destruction. Everyone knows what the real deal is, OIL!
@mysticeyes85 You do know that after the invasion of iraq, america companies were denied access to bid on oil contracts to show that we didn't invade for oil. Islamic extremists want to oppress all others and force us all to follow their ridiculous religion. They can go to hell.

In america u only see two parties at every election, the democrats and the republicans. Just recently i found that in america there are about 6 parties How come we never here of the other 4 parties?
If democracy is just and fair.
Should iran have stop producing uranium while the west has its own nuclears, isnt that hypocritical?
''Iranians are experiencing humiliation'' In my opinion iran is one of the only countries who actually has honor and is a country i am proud of. Islam gave iran honor and dignity. Should iran have opened the doors for the west?Like Turkey has and loose their identity their culture their heritage.
It is quite disturbing how a f*cktard like this guy could be raised in an Islamic republic and hold such dull, old, western views. (1) He is mad because Americans call Iranians terrorists. Is the West his Daddy that he cares so much? Westerners once called Persians "Barbarians". Boohoo. It's out of fear of growing Islam. (2) satellite TV propaganda "Why are u Muslim, become atheist, you have Cyrus, Darius, what do u want with IRI" Even 5 year old can parrot what he said just by watching tv.
I agree with your thoughts 100%. But let's take pity & compassion on that poor sod. He represents the twisted & sad complexities, insecurities of the gharbzadegi disease. Let's pray that he comes to wake up. It is sad that these people want the nebulous freedom, but they are not free in their heads. Send him not your curses but the loving energy that he find enlightenment. We are all evolving at a different pace.
You are right, I only get so annoyed because my own relatives suffer from the same mental depravity. Your post is so full of wisdom and light durood bar shomah!
Ditto to all your comments. The male is a young soul and he has a long journey ahead of him. As misguided as he is, he is sincere and gentle. Let's wish him well, all the same and hope that truth rather than distortions and egotistical impulses, come to rule his life.
I agree with you, perhaps I am being a bit too harsh on him. But I found he lacked any conviction in what he was saying. Everything was speculation on his part.
The young lady presented her arguements by mentioning historical facts. He was no match for her. She spoke of concepts in Democracy.
He just rambled out poetry.
I don't want to be mean but perhaps he should spend more time reading books instead of combing his hair.
This so called democratic people who call themselfs Iranian, If you look at what they stand for, it is plain and simple, all this green and what ever colored movements is about this people wanting to be able to party harder! that is it realy! for the rest of it all they dont even know what the hell they are talking about, they keep repeating out dated slogans and crap, they are Iranians with no vision. they are ever allien to their own culture and sociaty
It is interesting that those fanatic secularists are the only ones who seem immune to the word "extremism". From the cultural warfare machinery, it would seem as if religions (the complete antithesis and solution to bad extremism) would be the monopoly of it.
Oh God, please don't give him an F. If you do, he will start whining and complaining about how bad the education system is in Iran thanks to Ahmadinejad and Islam. That is how those people work.
They have mastered the art of never taking responsibility for anything they do or stop doing, and then they go out to the street and blame the same corruption of their intentions and ways on "the government".
No, I wish. This is taken from a documentary called "Revolution in Motion" by a young Iranian-Canadian called Milad Dokhanchi. You can search for the whole documentary, it is very very good to see very nice points of the Ahmadinejad system that we are never told about.
that boy sounds like a bloody idiot when people see i have an iranian passport and i look iranian they think terrorist i don't think that when i see an iranian muslim or any other muslim but then again i'm not a racist person unlike him!
What is really more funny about it is that he would seem to imply that that is the fault of Ahmadinejad's government, when it was during the Reformist government of the traitor Khatami when Bush named Iran as part of the Axis of Evil.
Jaja, you do realize that the 80% of your messages consist of throwing random adjectives at people who think differently to you?
Although why do I bother, since everything contradicting you sounds like "bla bla" in your ears, as you reformist/secularists are incapable of listening to others who don't fit in the theories Khatami borrowed from Habermas.
And then you go and act surprised that Ahmadinejad gets 24 million votes? Gee, you obviously have an observation (and listening) problem.
I know you fanatics don't read humanity, you read in terms of paragraphs and number of characters. That is why you act so surprised when Ahmadinejad wins by a landslide, because you consciously omitted anyone thinking differently to you for years.
Fanatic refusal to see the Iranian national reality and pretty much anything that contradicts your views. Hopefully you fanatics will grow up one day, although chances are slight given your record of decades of nothing but whining.
so basically hes ashamed of being iranian , while she loves being an iranian . Im not surprised , these traitors never liked the islamic identity of iran , the same people who hated islam 1400 years ago are the same people hating islam today.
"Moderates" (mediocre) would most times be pessimistic, whining, and borrowing Western dull ideas, whereas fundamentalists (faithful) would always be offering with optimism and confidence something new and interesting from which we Westerners have got a lot to learn.
That is so nice that this place is close to your house in Tehran : ) Hopefully we can sit for a chat there some years from now, well into the recovered Islamic Revolution inshAllah.
islam is the only solution to all problems

mysticeyes85 2 years ago 5
The guy speaking has no sense of honor.
''Iranians are experiencing humiliation'' In my opinion iran is one of the only countries who actually has honor and is a country i am proud of. Islam gave iran honor and dignity. Should iran have opened the doors for the west?Like Turkey has and loose their identity their culture their heritage.
mysticeyes85 2 years ago 6
It is quite disturbing how a f*cktard like this guy could be raised in an Islamic republic and hold such dull, old, western views. (1) He is mad because Americans call Iranians terrorists. Is the West his Daddy that he cares so much? Westerners once called Persians "Barbarians". Boohoo. It's out of fear of growing Islam. (2) satellite TV propaganda "Why are u Muslim, become atheist, you have Cyrus, Darius, what do u want with IRI" Even 5 year old can parrot what he said just by watching tv.

Please don't insult them no matter how upsetting their dull mentalities are.

And he, my friends, is the voice of the 'educated middle class secular "elites" of North Tehran'.
Morons, the lot of them.
When will they learn that ingratiating themselves to the west will never work.

The male could not even define Democracy...
More importantly he had absolute no idea why he was oppsed to the Islamic Republic other than how he felt he was seen outside of Iran.
The male obviously suffers from a inferiority complex. He talks of Kings as if they would stop on the street to talk to him.
The male is extremely immature perhaps due to him living in a fantasy of ancient times.
The girl out shinned him in every aspect, knowledge, presentation and rational thought.
PastorGeezuss 2 years ago 6

Thanks for uploading this video clip.
Hafez21hafez21 2 years ago 4
Democracy? Wow are the americans enjoying it now, no, they lose their homes because of these democracy scams.
Just because this secularist wants to go on tour without being categorized as a terrorist, he rather adapt the life of a zionist.?
fordgt402 2 years ago 6
It is interesting that those fanatic secularists are the only ones who seem immune to the word "extremism". From the cultural warfare machinery, it would seem as if religions (the complete antithesis and solution to bad extremism) would be the monopoly of it.

Political Sciences?! I give him an 'F'
wandererguided 2 years ago 6
Oh God, please don't give him an F. If you do, he will start whining and complaining about how bad the education system is in Iran thanks to Ahmadinejad and Islam. That is how those people work.
They have mastered the art of never taking responsibility for anything they do or stop doing, and then they go out to the street and blame the same corruption of their intentions and ways on "the government".
germanicus24 2 years ago
jaja, you are so right man.
btw i am looking for translated speeches of khamenei, do you know where i can find some?

Nice video German, hoping to see more soon.
Also, did you make this?
altigerrrr 2 years ago 6
Thank you Ali.
No, I wish. This is taken from a documentary called "Revolution in Motion" by a young Iranian-Canadian called Milad Dokhanchi. You can search for the whole documentary, it is very very good to see very nice points of the Ahmadinejad system that we are never told about.
germanicus24 2 years ago
that boy sounds like a bloody idiot when people see i have an iranian passport and i look iranian they think terrorist i don't think that when i see an iranian muslim or any other muslim but then again i'm not a racist person unlike him!
fayrouz2008 2 years ago 2
What is really more funny about it is that he would seem to imply that that is the fault of Ahmadinejad's government, when it was during the Reformist government of the traitor Khatami when Bush named Iran as part of the Axis of Evil.
germanicus24 2 years ago
Fortunately, in Iran people of independent minds like Shima are the vast majority, reason why the elections were won by a landslide.

good video, and you know which ideaology is closer to mine
beh1310 2 years ago
I know which ideology is closer to yours: The interviewer's, who is British and also lives in Engelestán.
germanicus24 2 years ago
you are so rigid, unbelievable, i'm so happy i never have to meet you
beh1310 2 years ago
I thought that is what you meant by "closer". After all you take Western words literally : P
germanicus24 2 years ago
manipulative and disgusting
beh1310 2 years ago
Jaja, you do realize that the 80% of your messages consist of throwing random adjectives at people who think differently to you?
Although why do I bother, since everything contradicting you sounds like "bla bla" in your ears, as you reformist/secularists are incapable of listening to others who don't fit in the theories Khatami borrowed from Habermas.
And then you go and act surprised that Ahmadinejad gets 24 million votes? Gee, you obviously have an observation (and listening) problem.
germanicus24 2 years ago
funny, i write 3 words and you have to reply me in 3 paragraphs, i feel the power over you
beh1310 2 years ago
I know you fanatics don't read humanity, you read in terms of paragraphs and number of characters. That is why you act so surprised when Ahmadinejad wins by a landslide, because you consciously omitted anyone thinking differently to you for years.
Fanatic refusal to see the Iranian national reality and pretty much anything that contradicts your views. Hopefully you fanatics will grow up one day, although chances are slight given your record of decades of nothing but whining.
germanicus24 2 years ago
hopefully
beh1310 2 years ago
And why would I like to meet you exactly?
For you reformist/secularists a "dialog" consists in listening to anyone thinking differently to you as "bla bla".
germanicus24 2 years ago
I agree 100% its neither one infact it is the Jews who have been the terrorists

so basically hes ashamed of being iranian , while she loves being an iranian . Im not surprised , these traitors never liked the islamic identity of iran , the same people who hated islam 1400 years ago are the same people hating islam today.
darthsouheil 2 years ago 3
i know this place very well. it's near our house in shahrak-qods.
the " reformist " has lost his identity and roots. what a pitty but what an honor that there are so many people like the
" fundamentalist " who are representing real iranians.
dietzenbach7777 2 years ago 3
I saw this myself in Iran.
"Moderates" (mediocre) would most times be pessimistic, whining, and borrowing Western dull ideas, whereas fundamentalists (faithful) would always be offering with optimism and confidence something new and interesting from which we Westerners have got a lot to learn.
That is so nice that this place is close to your house in Tehran : ) Hopefully we can sit for a chat there some years from now, well into the recovered Islamic Revolution inshAllah.
germanicus24 2 years ago
that would be a great honor for myself. insha allah in near future.
dietzenbach7777 2 years ago
It is also common that those people like Vahid live from worshiping idealized ghosts of the past, rather than attempting to create a future.
germanicus24 2 years ago
because it's easier. people like Vahid have only this way because if they would think they could only be for the islamic system.
but they doesn't and it is easier to be against something than for it.
they live in an illusion. they think the western counties are the heaven on earth,
with no problems or anything bad.
but they are watching a never-ending movie from tv stations like CNN, BBC and so on...
