  • This also goo goo dolls :)

  • Nice to hear a solo from Jesse at the end

  • rock on Gin Blossoms!!!

  • These are simply just good musicians. Nothing flashy or fancy, nothing uppity, not trying to change the world or spread a message. Just fun, good music.

  • good band and I am glad they are back

  • great song and band

  • 3 people didn't learn yet

  • I really like this song, def sounds like something that could have been on New Miserable Experience

  • I like the Gin Blossoms, but there's something about this song that I really dislike. Can't put my finger on it.

  • The gb's mean such to me. In '94 I got a green card and left Dublin for Boston. While working in a tshirt shop in Harvard Square, I heard "lost horizons" then my boss told me about doug h. In '96 I came home with tail between my legs and 200 cd's one of which was NME it still is one of my favourites.

  • @guimarboy if you don't mind me asking, what store was it? Was it in the Garage?

  • i miss their beautiful songs way back in their album new miserable experience.. what happened to them after 2nd album?

  • @kibong1979 They actually broke up for awhile after that. Robin Wilson formed the Gas Giants (one single, Quitter) and Jesse formed his own band. They did reunion for a closing bar and figured out they could stand each other again. So, there you go. No wiki required.

  • Best 90s rock band!

  • fantastic band, love thier sound.

  • love gin blossoms all the time!!!

  • love gin blossoms all the time!!!

  • Great tune... but the lead singer needs to do something different with what's left of his hair... or just go full-on Michael Stipe and do the Colonel Kurtz,

  • I love this =D

  • Just saw them in KC on friday. They are still awesome and their new cd No Chocalate Cake sounds like its going to be great from what I've heard. Miss Disarray is their new single.

  • great great band

  • yep yep. early doug hopkins stuff was great too, but this just goes to show the rest of the boys still have it!

  • i was a 4th grader wayback then i heard follow you down on radio and from then i find myself stealing cassette tapes on my aunts drawer just to record it almost waiting a wholeday and badly i never catch it..up to now rock bands come and go but ginblossom still my most favorite band..melodic rhythm on every track and a deep history of every compositions,Doug lay the foundations but Robin kept the framework still standing, its great that now im 29 yrs of age,dis guys still got me....

  • Great great song!!!

  • weehhh

i just really like the composition and music of gin blossoms,., i heard them when i was a grade skul,., but until then i'm still listening and get an update to their albums,.,

  • gin blossoms are the best alternative band of the 90's!

  • where is the url, I just purchased Keepvid and now I cannot save it ... crud help

  • Saw these guys in concert in November... the energy was amazing and the sound was as incredible as ever.

  • Man, I love the ending.. super cool!

  • wow, they still sound exactly the same! Age doesn't phase these guys!

  • great song

  • yea, missed them alot

  • Man I missed these guys.

  • awesome to see these blokes back..luvn they sounds...nice post...5*****

  • I actually heard this song today on McDonalds in Denmark! :-)

    Awesome song.

  • Comment removed

  • this is true pop.

not that miley cyrus BULLSHIT you hear on the radio today..

  • I agree. Wuts with ppl crazed over her? She makes pop sound crapy.

  • Increible, una de mis bandas favoritas de los 90, LATINOAMERICA LOVE TO GIN BLOSSOMS

  • oasis and gin blossom are both great band

  • Gin Blossoms is Better.

  • not that the radio is totally devoid of anything decent anymore....but THIS IS WHAT A POP SONG IS SUPPOSED TO SOUND LIKE. Got to find their new album.

  • are you stupid? oasis are one of the best band ever! i´ve seen them live and they rock! tonedeaf beatch!

  • d lo mejoor

  • great band!! they keep 90's quality!

  • wow the live version is even better than the original....veryy underrated band

i use to listen to this every morning before going to school when i was in my last year of high school....'06 Good times

  • I love this band!

  • cool!!! this song was on my phone so i ignored it, but when i listened, it sounded awesome

  • it's gamming time

  • do you play ? the interplay between musicians is more complex than who's name appears on the writing credits, when a band arranges a song there is a give and take and each member contributes nuances and inflections and the song takes its final shape.that is what establishes a bands sound and feel.i know this from 28 years in rock and roll bands my old band recorded our last cd at the same studio they were in at the time of nme they weren't the same after doug was fired how could they be?

  • Is the drummer the same..or they have a new one..it looks like not the original one! but anyway thanx a lot for uploading this video..very nice quality..go gin blossom..one of my favorite american band!

  • they have a new fill-in drummer

  • i heard this song because it came with a new memory stick i bought and i loved it..thank u for posting it. great quality also..:P two thums up!

  • yeah me too, my aunt brought me a new mp3 player, and that song is included, and i love it

  • Sorry, but GB is Doug Hopkins. And you all know it also.

  • yea, doug was a good songwriter, and the gin blossoms would be bigger were he still around, but jesse's written some good songs too.

  • Yes I agree about Jesse. He's also a great guitar player.

  • oh come on. The guy wrote only 6 songs on one album. You obviously don't know anything about a band.

  • I think I covered this previously. Apparently being a fanboy distorts reality.

  • No, apparently not knowing what you're talking about distorts reality. I just mean it is impossible for one guy who wrote just half an album to physically be an entire band. Do the math on that one.

  • Yes, mathematically speaking you are correct. As for the talent in the band, that would be Doug Hopkins. The man who single handedly kept the rest of the band from being shortorder cooks and Wal-Mart associates by writing the songs that got the band noticed.

  • Well Robin and Jesse actually wrote more hits than Doug. Robin and Jesse wrote Follow You Down, Allison Road, Until I Fall Away, and Til I Hear From You. One could argue that it was not so much the songs themselves as the style in which they were played that got them noticed. If Doug was the only talent, the second album wouldn't have had 2 Top Ten hits.

  • I'm not sure how old you were in 1993, but I clearly remember hearing Hey Jealousy being played on the rotation of every rock station. It was the song that the label sold to the radio stations, and it was the song that exposed the American listeners to GB. After that, Mrs. Rita was released, then Found Out About You.

In any case, the whole album was great. One of my favorite to recommend along with The Charlie Sexton Sextet. And though the band has carried on, I believe the heart was Doug.

  • I agree Doug was the heart and soul, but he was not the band. I was 2 years old in 1993, but I remember when Follow You Down. Their second album was the first album I ever bought. It wasn't Doug that made me like them. I just like the Gin Blossoms sound as a whole. Still my favorite band.

  • does anyone know anything about their 2009 album?

  • Thank you for posting, great song from a great album!

  • i really love this guy's voice. easily the most soothing singing voice you can ever want to listen to.

  • I love the Gin Blossoms!

  • Saw them at the Ram's Head in Annapolis last Friday. It was an awesome show in a perfect venue for their sound.

  • Yeah pretty much GB back to their melodic harmonic best :)

  • just wish they would play the uk

  • TOTALLY!! :D

  • I got to see the Gins at a private business event. I have grown up with their music, so it was amazing to meet them and hear their music in such an intimate setting.

  • Awesome.

  • Amazing song. I am so glad they are back. I love the whole album.

  • woow...i love gin blossoms a lot!!!!

  • For the record Phill left the band to get help at first (thats when scotty first steped in to be drummer) but when Phill got back he was ill recived by the fans. This is acording to wiki and the GB site.

  • apparently they're supposed to be putting out another new record by the end of 2008

  • awesome! where did you hear that?

  • Obviously the 'front' 4 are original Blossoms...aint too sure about the drummer? Can anyone help?

  • Phill Rhodes is no longer in the band thanks to drinking problems. The new drummer is Scotty ?, he has been in the band sence 06 (i think). GB whent through a few drummers before settling with him.

  • yea, they call him "the kooze." he's their current studio and live drummer.

  • The drummer is Scott (The Kooze) Kusmirek and he grew up in my hometown Munising Mi. Right now he plays with the band Matthew moon as well and is the current studio and live drummer ... hope this helped

  • damn i feel like crap, this has been out for over a year and im just now finding out about it :( i could have been listening to a new gin blossoms cd for a year by now.... oh well, at least i kwow now right haha :)

  • oh my goodness...i just got back from seeing them in nj...amazing. absolutley. i got to shake robin's hand, and get an autograph...it was the coolest thing.

  • i love this song.....

it came preprogrammed into my mp3 player

  • im going to see them toward the end of july in new jersey. gonna be awesome.

  • just a great band

  • Oh n PS to below...there's fkall wrong with the lead break or any of the guitar work so I dont know where that idea comes from...and then some knobs saying the singers not at his best...what planet r u morons on!!!

  • This is the first time ive heard this n its bloody good...got a great feel of the 'old' Blossoms about it and a shedload better than owt thats supposedly 'new' and mimics great guitar bands like this lot :)

  • awesome,..,,amazing,,,,,...

  • absolutley...

  • Such a great band. Actually got a chance to meet them at a private business party that they played. It was cool to get to hear them in such an intimate setting.

  • Almost every GB performance Bill is in some dark corner, has he lost light lights or something? anyway Jesse's solo CD was good you just got to like folk to enjoy it. I guss young people didn't enjoy those tunes after all.

  • I agree they are a little Beatle-like, although not quite...

Robin's voice, one of the best in modern rock, is not at its best on this take.

Great to see the old boys still recording and touring though.

(Sorry some of you didn't like the "guitar player's solo album." His name is Jesse Valenzuela and he's a little quirky, but wonderful.)

  • they rock ..the guitar players solo cd was horrible though...they rite great songs together...i met them in vegas.,.after a show,,,,awesome..sorry g-tar player

  • This song has some great notes in it.

  • These guys are amazing... they deserve sooooooo much more credit than they get. They really helped define modern rock as it is now. Just my two cents here...

  • haha...good 2 cents.

  • ahh...i love this song

  • I heard this song when it first came out two years ago and had no idea who sang it, and have spent two years trying to find it. THANK YOU!!! Great song!!!

  • I know Robin...he is the coolest guy on the planet!

  • WOW! That's awesome! Tell him he's got one great voice.

  • definitivamente es genial oir decir a Robin Wilson que tienen un nuevo album...

y que mejor manera de presentarlo con este tema!

  • I saw these guys last summer...What a great show!!! Their new album is great!!!

I think that these guys might be the new Beatles!

  • agreed ,,

  • This live version sounds so much better then the radio version on their home website.

  • eso mismo le decia a un amigo... esta version en vivo es mu mucho mejor que la que suena en la radio.

  • simplismente phoda... dah-lhe gin blossoms..

  • where to get autograf

  • new single from them????? new album????

  • The "new" album came out in August 2007 - it's called MAJOR LODGE VICTORY - it's a great album.

  • Saw these wonderful guys for $10-what a shame they don't have more support from radio. It was one of the best shows I've been to in years and was worth way more than 10 bucks. I've always loved them and am so glad to see them back. Great energy, great sound, great voice.

  • bakulaw!!!they are great!i hope to see these guys in person.please try to visit manila for a concert.

  • FUCKIN AMAZING SONG!! :) so inspirational.

  • Was nuts about the band when I started listening to them back in '95. Great video!

  • I was fortunate enough to have seen these guys before they hit the road.Years have went by we all have grown, and it was amazing when this song was released,I felt I had made something of my own years because I still felt the connection with music.Only thing that bugs me now is Cody and Grady ragweed dont show enough respect to Jesse and the gang when if it were not for them,they-ragweed would still be in little bars wasting away

  • wtf r u babbling on
