  • Extremely helpful. You have my thanks.

  • Worked perfectly. Thank you.

  • Thanks this is great. Funny how simple a solution can be when the problem seems so big.

  • Configure coreavc and select 'skip always' in deblocking, and select 'hardware' in deinterlacing..;p

  • thank you very much i am gonna subscribe

  • why it didn't work for me?

it will be black!? what should I do ?!

  • thanks...is work....

  • does this work on youtube ???????????

  • 1080p still runs like shit on my WMP. not really sure whether it is coreAVC. i personally hate mpc but ill give it a shot

  • @pianoaddict772 :I suggest u to use gom player.....

  • @syafiq1992nightlight i actually got CoreAVC to work with WMP.

  • @StefConEnterprises: It Worked DUDE to full 1080p HD thanx very very much....

  • it worked,thanks!

  • CoreAVC codec is the bollocks, thanks.

  • download k lite codec pack

  • my window media player play it better than classic:P dunno why i just downloaded coreavc and walaa awsome 1080p run smooth^_^ now i need a blu ray lesbian porn RAWR l

  • @darkj3am where did u downloaded CoreAVC could u send me the link n send me dat lesbian porn aswell XD

  • @TamuSangatTV as usual places TORRENTS or try this website.. its a forum where sharing is super amazing "tehparadox(.)com" just search coravc.. or just keep googling LOLS the codex is not free so look for a pirated one. but there is another way to play bluray play back and its free. download and install haali and ffdshow. google it and get it from free-codecs

  • still lags..

  • this ONLY works with MPC? i got VLC also but my MPC isnt working right atm, any fix for MPC btw i get an error when i use it

  • @ffinfinity1 CoreAVC should work with most players but not VLC. VLC uses its own codecs (thats why people use it, its simple). Maybe just installing the latest CoreAVC and using WMP11 would work. It didnt at the time I made this video. You could maybe reinstall MPC, that should fix it i hope.

  • thanks a ton mate... worked great !

  • when i played my first 1080p vid, everything went smoothly, when i played another vid, the audio and video starts to lag.. any solutions?

  • @justinchanjinle I guess its not enought with just CoreAVC. Try something like Gamebooster. Format/reinstall OS can be a smart thing to do if its been a while. Other than that I dont know.

  • 1080 video works great but now the audio lags

  • great, spent lots of hours until this simple solution!

  • Worked like a charm. Thanks dude!

  • this work fine to me!!!!thx a lot!!

unfortunatelly i can not use subs when i am going to load subs it says "to load subtitles you have to change video renderer type and reopen the file"

    thx!

  • @christosp90

    try to use bsplayer

  • shortest and most efficient way i've ever seen .. worked like a CHARM :D

you have my deepest THANKS (Y)

  • omfg this helped me a lot man.now i can watch pacific in hd.thanx a lot well appreciated.cheers

  • have to say i'm impressed. i've been having alot of trouble with this new laptop i purchased after installing COUNTLESS codecs and this worked seamlessly. never new you had to appropriate a specific codec in mpc. thanks a million! =)

  • Didn't help me. Still plays best with windows media player the first thing I tried. This method did not make it any smoother for me. It did however, mess with the image quality and distort some scenes. It plays smoother than VLC however.

  • same,

I followed the exact instructions, and found a dramatic decrease in framerate when using mplayer / coreavg...weird.

  • By the way I am no clone you can message me and do whatever you want, I endorse this video to the fullest extent, its not a scam video it actually is an easy way to get HD files to play smooth. FINALLY... so dont be skeptical about this vid because it is LEGIT

  • I still have a shitty CPU, processor, and graphics card, but this helped out some.

Still a little bit laggy because of my specs, but this did improve it. Thanks a lot, Fucker!! hahah <3

  • dude... ur brilliant. i can't believe it. now my 1080p movies play a lot smoother! brilliant!

  • Thanks, very helpful

  • Glad it worked. Make sure to check out Portable media player classic with codecs at Demonoid (if you are cool enough). ;)

  • HOW THE HELL do codecs help a player play a video smoother? WOW THX man! The best thing that I've found searching the web ALL YEAR!

  • GREAT GENIUSNESS. I have downloaded a lot of codeds, CoreAVC, CCCP ffsdshow and a few more but never have i been told to add CoreAVC at external filters. thanks you

  • This worked well to a certain extent

    CHEERS!!!!

  • Smooth Video Pack FTW

  • straight to it thanks, others like to talk about random shit and make it into a 5 min vid

  • great vid, thx

  • THX !!!

  • Thanks Mate, Its Smooth now!

    Sucky KMPlayer!!!!

    Media Player Classic ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

1.8ghz Intel Dual Core, 2GB Ram

  • TYVM

  • u made my life a lot easier

  • Thank you thank you thank you!

  • Thank you so much for easy description.

My system: AMD LE-1660 (2.8GHz single core), ATI Radeon HD 3450 can play now 1080p mkv file so smoothly.

  • MAN THANKS THANKS THANKS

  • works perfectly! thanx a lot!

  • thank you so much.

    worked for me in vista

  • thanks this worked man!

  • it really helps alot thanks 5 stars

  • great!! But now the audio doesn't work. Please help....

  • Try enabling AC3 under options in the player. If not that, try downloading ac3-filter. And last resort might be installing k-lite codecs pack or AVIcodec. AVIcodec checks what codec you need to play the file. (So it says)

  • omg this works!!!

  • thanks dude, works awsome now.

  • so i stick to 720p files they run smooth as botox balls.

  • True true, but I might have found a new thing that might work if one has the right graphics card. The latest CoreAVC 1.9.0.0 has CUDA support. GPU can help rendering. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260/280, 9800, 9600, 9500, 8800 GT, 8700, 8600, 8500, 8400, Tesla S1070/C1060, Quadro FX 3700, Quadro FX 3600M, Quadro FX 1700/FX 570/ NVS 320M/FX 1600M/FX 570M/FX 370/NVS are supported. You will need the CUDA drivers "nvidia com". Might work. You can try if you feel the need and can.

  • Ehy man

your video and comments have done nothing but help me :D!!

    thanks alot

first i tried that media classic out with the coreavc

it helped a lil but after i installed the latest Drivers from nvidia also cuda drivers it smoothed out my 1080p movie!!

    thanks!!

  • Glad it helped. CoreAVC migh be released as 2.0 soon with x64 support (rumors). There is also an x64 MPC. x64 MPC works great on Win7 without any additional codecs installed. Imagine cuda on x64 system... Smooth as a baby's bottom.

  • Ye they are slowly geting there without having to spend lots of money.

    thx again for the info

  • x64-version of CoreAVC doesn't seem to only be a rumor:

    /watch?v=uQqmBXvIInA

  • Fantastic, everything runs just smoothly.

    Thank god for youtube.

  • Jesus! I had troubles while playing 1080P movies on my pc (I was using VLC) but with media player classic + CoreAVC runs smoothly! Thanks a lot!

I have a question, what happens to the surround/quality of the audio? It gets decreased or it's of the same quality? thanks for your help!

  • The audio should be unaltered. I do not think it will compress or change the audio in any way. It only effects the video decoding (CoreAVC video decoder). Your computer probably uses the same codec to decode the audio. Are you experiencing any quality loss?

  • Well I tried it for a bit and I didn't notice any quality lost, i was asking that because of how old is "media player classic". Oh you know what it is weird? When I play those mp4 1080p movies on my computer with VLC it doesn't lag at all but when I use VLC to play 1080P .mkv it gets laggy as hell. Any ideas?

  • Media player classic is not updated for a long time, but the differance between VLC and MPC is that MPC gives you the choice to use whatever codec you would like. Its only like a userface for the codecs that brings you the picture. Why mp4 works and mkv doesnt might be that the compressionmethod is more compact or just harder to decode in mkv. VLC is good for streaming but otherwise not.

  • Oh I get it now. What's a good codec for surround sound that is easy to configure on MPC? Thanks a lot for your help!

  • it refuses to send my posts... well, many .mkv files are in AC3 audio I believe. Ive heard a lot about AC3Filter. I use the K-lite codecs pack (freeware). It includes ac3filter but i havent set anything more than CoreAVC to prefered. Try that pack. It might be a good way to start testing different codecs. I think the biggest quality loss is when the movie was ripped, not in the codec im afraid.

  • So I watched Underworld 2 and seems to be that it doesn't decode DTS properly, somehow it plays the audio like if i was in 2.1 not in surround sound, any thoughts on that?

  • HOLY MOTHER OF JEBUS...

I can now play 720p movies/series, now you think " well thats not a big deal"

    here is my specs:

    AMD athlon 2200 xp

    1024 mb ram @ 266 mhz

    HD 2400 pro 265 mb

    This is f***ing insane!!!!

Now i can put good use to my lcd without buying more crap. And btw i love the "get a hold of =)" part.

  • I was just wondering if you had to change the Merits? since you have them on 00600000

    I Have them on 00800200

I've tried playing a 1080P version of the Documentary: Earth- still no Success I've got a Intel(R) core (TM) 2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz and 2.00 of Ram My Video card is a Radeon X1950.

your solution seems a little bit toooo good to be true But hey if you know any other things that might help gimme a Message.

  • Hello. Well, by setting the decoder to "prefer" disables the "merit". Make sure its set to "Prefer". Also by setting the direct show video to "Overlay Mixer" under output can help. Another thing that is very common among windows based systems are that they boot with a ton of processes if you dont remove some. I got 30 running now. Disable the unneccesary ones in "run">"msconfig. It can bring the CPU and RAM usage way down.

  • Ok I've got everything set Right now I'm using the VMR9 (renderless) Output right now and 720P seems to work fine, now 1080p on the other hand is not as successful.

But thanks cause 720p is pretty goddamn good.

  • Sure you've got the Professional version of CoreAVC? It supports dualcore CPUs and make sure CPU-usage in idle is 0-2%. A defragged harddrive can help with the readingtime of the file. "process priority above normal" under options>player in MPC might also help. Otherwise I dont know, Im sorry.

  • I Think highbitrates on 1080P files could be a Hazzard even your solution cant fix.

  • Thanks for this it worked perfectly. FYI for anyone wanting to try it, my PC is Athlon64 2.2GHZ with 2.7GB ram. I'll have to try it with stock speed of 2.2GHz someday.

  • Many thanks for this video! I'd purchased CoreAVC and downloaded MPC, but still had stuttering, lagging, out-of-synch video playback. Your simple instructions saved the day!

  • Happy to be of help :). Changing output to "overlay mixer" will probably make it even faster to render, but I think that "VMR9 (renderless)" gives the best quality. Unchecking internal filters that you don't need reduces the RAM-usage. You could try that if you'd like. Just a tip...

  • Nuff love for this knowledge bredren.

  • thanks alot. i was also thinking of buying a new processor but guess i don't have to

1280x720 resolution vids still lag for me a bit but 1024x576 works fine for me now. they used to lag as well ;D

  • omg thanks alot!! i was going to buy a new processor to run the movie smoothlie but now i dont need to!! thx!!

  • MPC is the shit! Spread the word ;)

Also try Foobar2000 0.9.4.5 (the best version, Audio player). It rocks too.

  • can you plze tell show how to remove unwanted stuff (intro and credits) from a HD movie without loosing the quality? to save some space

  • turning deblocking off in CoreAVC's options windows can be helpful if you're using an oldschool CPU :) ~1GHz

  • Lmao, i played those F%#*s, thanks to you man, i didnt know it was so simple to play the 1080p. I was planning to get better vid cards or cpu , till this vid.
