It is an honour and privilege for Mahadevan to share this space with Ustad Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan is doing what he does. But it is Shankar Mahadeva who is treading the uncharted path and and is the hero of the evening. He should take some time away from Bollywood and give independant vocal clasical performances. After the Mangeshkars and Yesudas he is one more person from the film world who seems to be keeping distance from classical performances because of his busy schedule.
