@asherinka Sorry, but this posts a spoiler from the book, and I need to screen the comment (as per my policy on spoilers). I appreciate your interest in this discussion, and I'd suggest continuing it in PMs. :)
The city elves basically "worshipping" Marethari is intereting. I guess that, even though they like to think they've cut loose from their past, they really haven't. Who knows how even Varric, the most surfac-y (oh god) dwarf ever, would react if he saw a living Paragon walking down the street. It's kinda the same thing.
@cvrc11 Where did you get the idea that City Elves "like to think they've cut loose from their past"? Marathari visits the Alienage not as a political authority, but as a cultural figure. As such her welcome is very fitting IMO.
@iOnlySignIn I got the idea from several sources: 1. Zevran talks about how he once wanted to join the Dalish, but was severely dissappointed. He also says everyone laughed at him for wanting such a pointless thing. 2. I can't imagine the city elves would want much to do with a people who think they are no longer elvhen. 3. look at the city elf origin story. Its clear they have entirelly different rituals and customs, as well as their own Hahrens, rather than Keepers.
Just a thought, but... If Feynriel is this dreamer thin, if he can control the fade and if it affects the real world...
Could he possibly heal the Tranquil?
Karl was fine when Anders let Justice's power loose for a while and said it was like "he was carrying a piece of Fade with him" or something to that effect. If so... Feynriel, who can weave the Fade at will...
@Mavander OMG you're right! I've never thought of that! Although, he'd have to stay near the tranquil at all times in order to keep them un-tranquil.... so not really that useful.
@cvrc11 No, you see, Anders is... something. He's not just a mage but not fully an abomination. Feynriel practically RULES over the fade. If being made tranquil is severing the connection a mage has with the Fade, then perhaps Feynriel could restore that connection pernamently. After all the demon does mention "two lost magics in one day", meaning that Feynriel is capable of more than Anders.
...though then again, what did he mean by the second one? Fenris' markings?
@Mavander I was confused at first about the second "lost magic" until i realised that (and the game does a bad job of getting this across) Hawke and co. are actually PHYSICALLY in the Fade, which is kinda impossible.... so, go Marethari!
I love Torpor's meh response towards your answer. He's all "Whatever, die now" XD

The first one is the Marethari's ritual that sent Hawke & Co into the Fade. The second one is Feynriel.
