You guys got it all wrong. Mikami isn't the fourth kira, he's the fifth. Light Yagami isn't the first, some random kid is. You guys should read the manga than just watch some show that doesn't even show everything. That's what's wrong with episodes.

Misa is the third.
Hogochi is the fourth.
Mikami is the fifth.
And there's another kira in like 30 years or something.

Kira does it for an ideal world, that guy was just a part of a lucrous organization. Means, he wanted more money, not the ideal world.
