That comment is so crazy, it's hard to address it.
The people didn't necessarily "earn" the government they have. It is the corruption inherent in government and people that leads them to exploit their power. Do you really think that anyone in the world deserves to have an oppressive power mislead and bleed them dry?
Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities!
