Article III section 3, says that, 'Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.' Actually in VT Legislature just "threw out" taking of land for public use in favor of dev, septic tanks laws are $30,000 +, downtown dev favors good olde boys, tax incremental fiancing, Current Use, Act 200, Act 250, farm restrictions etc pretty much already take property rights.
