just so every one knows, when this song was written and sang by her. it was never meant to be a christmas song at all . she just put it must be christmas time in the song. because her true love came back to her after being gone for so long, 2000 miles away . and he came back like a gift. so she wrote.. it must be christmas time. radio stations and music agents picked up on this. and used this song around the holidays.
