I'm the same with belts. I used to buy $20 belts at the mall cause I didn't know any better, but then I discovered thrift stores/ yard sales and those are the only places I get belts from now. My belts are always hidden under my long shirts that I wear most of the time anyway. I used to have the same Kate Spade back in 8th grade that I got from a street vendor in NYC. I can never find vintage cards, I love the artwork they used to have back then.
Thrift stores are my favorite! It's hit and miss, especially at Goodwill because they tend to overprice EVERYTHING, but I love finding something and being able to come home and brag about it. For example, I found two sets of Harry Potter books, still wrapped up, on CD for $12 a set. AMAZING! Especially since I'm not paying $50 for them new. I get a lot of my things at thrift stores, and since I'm a huge book person, that's the best place for my books, too.
So jealous! Our thrift stores are really bad around here. They are VERY picked over! I love your hair by the way! I don't think I've ever really said that but I love it! It's so fun and kind of wild, but awesome!
@HappyHeart29 That's my hair, haha- crazy and wild, but I like it too most days ;) I'm lucky to have a naturally wavy texture- I usually throw some Garnier spray gel ad shine spray in it and go! I feel you on the thrift store thing- part of the process is just picking through all the crap so you can get to the treasures!
@jennabunnykins Ugh, don't you hate that?! My local resale store (they aren't really "thrift" because they're pricier) is the SAME way, so I have to drive a bit to get to a good one!
I think my great gram has those same owl salt and pepper shakers! I love thrift stores! Mine where I live it ghetto though LOL! The small town ones are a lot nicer then inner city LMFAO! Great video sweetie!
@GlossyGlam87 Thanks; I'm actually German (among other things), but American born! :) Even the workers at my IKEA pronounce it the way I did here...an American thing, perhaps?
@surfingbarbie A standard Flip camera. The lighting here is really crappy- I look very blown out, and you can't tell I'm wearing blush, etc.- which is why I hope to be switching soon to a Flip Ultra HD! I was experimenting here by sitting farther away from my window (main source of light) and using a tripod.
I feel like I'm stealing from thrift stores too ha

No one in my small crummy town has any fashion sense thus thrift shops are just a graveyard of bad fashion choices that cannot be resuscitated :(
