What I have done for the Grovers is to shave off the (flat)sides on the actual peg-shaft. Just a small amount allows the Gotoh pearloid buttons to fit on.With the Schallers it fits on a treat, but....as with anything guitar wise.....mods usually need to be done!It can be done quite simply...even though it may seem a big task.

im new to the locking tuners, the red special has grover locking tuners, the rs super has gotoh locking tuners. which tuners are you using had is ther any difference in the stringing the guitar with the locking tuners?

Thanks! On this one I just had a really cheap set of Gotoh tuners....they weren't locking! The current RS has Schaller mini locking tuners. I have used Grovers on my previous builds. These are fine and work well. The Schallers are simple to string up. Thread it around and turn the thumb-wheel at the bottom to lock. The Grovers are a little bit different but just as easy IMO.Self-locking when you tune up.

on a set of grover locking tuners its very hard to get the white replacemnt buttons, ive bought somne grover white buttons but im told the butons can be modified to fit the grover, i prosome making the holes bigger in the buttons??? did you ever come across this problem and if so, how did you get around it?

It is in tune....due to the extremely light set that BM used for most of his Queen career it causes these tuning discrepancies at times .008, .009, .011, .016W, .022W, .034W are the guages......

All I can do for these is play it, then try to show it slowed right down and highlight some areas that I would think of questions for??? Maybe you could study the video and try to relate it to the board? Don't know what else I can suggest really. Perhaps get a Tab or the notes of a version and try at that?? It didn't come easy for me and I have spent many many years trying to learn the stuff...Good luck
