my best time is the same as yours with realism on hard. I do a different approach to gate nine which helps knock of seconds.

When you're in the briefing for that mission, you should see the sequence drawn out for you on two pics of the site. You will realise that coming up to quad gate 9 is different to the way that the bloke teaches you in the training mission. If you follow how the drawing is, you will shed ten seconds.

My fastest I just ran was 1:19.5. To shave a few seconds turn left instead of right at gate 8 so that you hit gate 9 and then gate 10 will be directly in front of you.

iv won the contract many times. the touch and go is tricky. on gate 10 you shud have turned tighter i pass through it from the other angle. the 'FS acceleration' races are muuuuuuuuuuuuch tougher

Wooow, great!! just tried it myself, but it was really hard!! The only thing is that i got my settings higher so i got trees after gate 3... Thats a bit harder because you got to climb. But how a great pilot you are!! I strugle to get to gate 2, lol.

i get to the part where you have to go vertical then pass threw the gate in knife edge, and when i get threw the gate i miss the next one. and if i miss the gate after you go vertical its, becuase i crashed trying to pass threw it in knife edge. man you make it look easy

your flying is good but youre losing time in a places - I have done it in 1:22.4.

After Gate 4 there is no need to turn..just go straight ahead and pull into a loop, roll out and go into gate 5 at an angle - it makes it easier to get at least 60degrees and lined up for gate 7.

After Gate 8 turn LEFT not right, and go through Gate 9 heading straight towards Gate 10. Your touch and go is good, its the part i struggle most with

Maybe if you change at the end the direction you fly through gate 9 you can be even faster.

You are a really, really, good pilot. You did the entire course WITHOUT arrows. When I try the race, I usually don't make it too the first gate, and the one time I made it through, I crashed before the second gate.

Just posted a video response, recorded in Il-2 Sturmovik 1946 and based on Barcelona's 2006 race. Yes, objects like pylons suck, but knife-edge dynamics ar far better... I'm still very discouraged with the FSX rudder response of the Extra 300 :(

I don't know of any specific groups that race online. I have seen servers on gamespy where people race, so I guess you could look for those. When FSX:" Adreneline come out, I think they will have specialized online racing but I am not quite sure.

Hi everybody my pc specs are AMD athlon 64 3200+ 2gb of ram ddr2 and ATI x1650xt 256 ddr3 do you think that i should change my cpu to upgrade perfomance of my pc i have fsx and it has lags on medium high do you think that AMD athlon 64 X2 5600+ which is 2 x 2.8 GHZ is enough for this game ?

The processor would definately help, but just so you know, FSX does not utilize dual core. Plus, it looks like you might have a socket 939 CPU now, so unless you upgrade your mobo, you have to get a S939 CPU. I don't believe they sell that CPU for 939, or many others for that matter.

Not bad! But I think you´ve never seen the real red bull air race.

Flying through the BLUE pylons you´ve to fly horizontal.

Flying through the RED pylons you´ve to fly with at least 60° of the plane turning right or left (<-dont know how to explain :P)

You have to do this procedures at ALL Pylons!

That´s a new challenge try that!

However, respect that you´ve flown the red bull thing in FSX without probs!!! That´s not easy!
