This can possibly be identified as a form of eco-tourism, which is a whole lot better than poaching the animal if you ask me. Although the animal is removed from it's environment the species now has a value associated to them besides being poached and thus has an ability to rebuild its population.
ok...yeah are so cute but they are considered endangered mainly and have an extremely high mortality rate in captivit. The loris's bite is toxic! if you find a pet loris it will most likely have its canine teeth broken or pulled out by the seller so it can't bite. It's also just plain cruel!

I feel so sorry for this animal. :( He looks lost and confused, slightly in panic. I bet the loud music is also scaring him. I can't stand the fact that some cruel people steal these animals from the wild just to sell them to disrespectful people who want them because they're cute. That makes me very angry. In this video this animal is being handled like a cute toy. If I held this animal I would give it a chance to hide under my arm or cup my hands on it to protect it from the cruel world.

I tried to allow some comments on this video but disabled them every time again after I got stupid comments of people who neither read the comments nor got a good objective view for a good comment. Most of those were abusing me, my friends or even my whole nation.
With this video I try to show some people an animal that you won´t find in a zoo, give you the chance to see one of mother nature´s wonders.
And really, who of you would not try to hold it on your arm or take a picture with this cute little guy?
When this video was made none of us had the background about the fact that this species is endangered. These animals are caught from the wild, their parents killed and the babies are then taken in cages and their sharp teeth removed so that people can make money out of them and the animals can be handled by tourists like us.
These animals are normally in darkness, shy and don´t wish to be handled but have unfortunately no choice. This cruel practice should be stopped and I hope that this video will also have its function as warning sign for future tourists to Thailand.
Last but not least, read the description (We did NOT catch it), stop sending me private messages and stop asking me where you can get one of those, because even if I knew, I wouldn´t tell you.

ich glaube das ist ein Missverständnis. Ich besitze das Tier nicht, sondern es sind Aufnahmen während ich in Thailand war. Eine Frau hat es herumgetragen und man konnte gegen eine kleine Spende Fotos mit dem Tier machen. Soweit ich weiß darf man die Tiere in Europa nicht als Haustier halten, da deren Lebensraum und somit auch die Art vom Aussterben bedroht sind.

Also die Jungs im Video sind garantiert keine Tierquäler und ich hätte wahrscheinlich genauso reagiert, wenn o ein putziges Tier in meiner Nähe ist. Nichtsdestotrotz könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass die Besitzerin des Affen diesen auch ganz anderen Leuten vor die Nase hält, die dann im Suff ihre Späßcen damit treiben, hauptsache n bischen Geld usw. Ist natürlich nur ne Vermutung, aber oft werden so Touriattraktionen ja doch nicht gerade gut behandelt...

Wir haben das Tier weder gefangen, noch dahin gebracht, noch so gekleidet. Wir haben lediglich unsere Chance genutzt einmal im leben ein derartiges Tier in den Händen zu halten und zu streicheln.

Also ich finde das Tier unheimlich süss!Und unter Tierquälerei verstehe ich was GANZ anderes!Das wäre wohl eher soetwas wie Medikamente an ihnen zu testen oder ihnen physisch weh zu tun. Und hier ist keines davon passiert. sie haben das tier liebevoll behandelt. Natürlich sollte es eigentlich in seinem natürlichen Lebensraum sein, aber da hängt wohl eher von der Besitzerin und dem Tierschutz ab.Als ob Abe und seine freunde dafür verantwortlich sind, dass sone Thailänderin sich ein Lori schnappt!

Lol, wisst ihr, das isn Tier wies viele gibt. Tiere in Menschenhaltung leben im schnitt fast doppelt so lang, wegen der zuverlässigen Fütterung, also scheißt euch nicht ins Hemd, der kleine Affe lebt besser mit Touris als in der Natur wo er mal spontan gefressen wird oder an ner Krankheit krepiert.

naja also generell ist es zwar definitiv tierquälerei, denn das tier muss in einem lauten touristengebiet abhängen, aber da können die leute im video nix für, und können auch nix dran ändern. ich häts auch halten wollen. ich will aber garnicht dran denken wie schlecht manche dummen touristen (besonders besoffene) das vieleicht in ihren 5 minuten behandeln. die leute da im vid waren ja ganz freundlich zu dem tier

Sie tun dem kleinen nicht weh, und da Loris Baumbewohner sind können die auch mal kopfüber gehalten werden, das is nichtmal annähernd schlimm! Das einzige was evtl. zu beanstanden wäre, ist die laute mukke im hintergrund.. und dafür können Abe und seine Kollegen wohl nichts!

Hey,
ich glaube das ist ein Missverständnis. Ich besitze das Tier nicht, sondern es sind Aufnahmen während ich in Thailand war. Eine Frau hat es herumgetragen und man konnte gegen eine kleine Spende Fotos mit dem Tier machen. Soweit ich weiß darf man die Tiere in Europa nicht als Haustier halten, da deren Lebensraum und somit auch die Art vom Aussterben bedroht sind.

Genau darum geht es. Hast du den Eindruck, das Tier wird artgerecht gehalten? Oder könntest du dir vorstellen, dass ein wildes Tier beim Kontakt mit Fremden leidet? Und aus diesem Grund sollte man vielleicht kein Geld dafür bezahlen, um Bilder mit dem Tier zu machen. Man finanziert Tierquälerei.

artgerecht ist das was diesem wesen da widerfährt vermutlich nicht, aber schlimmer als z.B. hamster oder besser noch vögel in käfigen finde ich das auch nicht, wenn es nicht gerade eine seltene art ist.
