Do you see how fiscally irresponsible public housing can become if people receive some kind of federal support, but then the federal housing they live in results in higher crime as well?
So what do you want? Give specific examples that are bases on numbers. What is that belongs to you that you are taking back?

This is a tough situation. You have solid support among those who are in fear of being deported for being in this country illegally. You should match that support with people who have lived in their communities for a long time as well.
Why is public housing being demolished? Tell both sides of the story. I am assuming the crime rate might be highest in public housing. Counter demand that in exchange for not demolishing public housing, you will guarantee a lower than average crime rate.
