Americas education is no doubt in question, but the intelligence and knowledge are above average based on worldwide scores. IQ is a very accurate scoring of intelligence quotient, showing ones ability to learn and to apply the respected knowledge to situations. But in america it's very easy to live your whole life without furthering knowledge beyond the required. Motivation is what's truly at question.
