  • chancer looking to drum up work for chimney sweeps!

  • What the hell. Hahaha It was nothing but "Hey call a person to come do it"

  • Hire a professional sweep.

  • Further, it in no way costs more (for the average chimney) to buy the tools yourself than to have a pro do it. I needed 4 rods at about $10 each. $20 for a good brush. That's a little over 1/2 of what it cost me to have it professionally done. Anyone can sweep with a little smart research and the right tools (which will show you your limitations and when to call a pro), Anyone saying different wants you to pay him to do it; however a pro insepection doesn't hurt.

  • Youtube recommends that videos not be misleadingly tagged for user friendliness. This video is entitled "How to Clean a Fireplace : Cleaning a Chimney".This video has NOTHING to do with the title. It's frustrating, time wasting, and misleading for "experts" to post videos that promise "how to" in the title and say "call a pro" and very little else. Please stop wasting our time...and yours.

  • You know? Your'e just like my lawyer. You told what's already known, took a long time to dribble it out and you'd probably charge mega bucks for this pice of shit information. This clip should have been called 'How to waste your time'......I agree with every comment put here about this crap vid...

  • wow i have to agree with everyone here, this video was WHACK! LOL

  • I don't care if it may be dangerous! I want to clean my own chimney!! you didn't show how to do anything!

  • you didnt show me shit!

  • More absolute garbage from 'expert' village idiots. I still have yet to see an expertvillage video worth watching.

  • It's a crumy commercial. F/U man.

  • So how is this informative? You just told us to have someone else to do it. Waste.

  • This is rubbish. You dont have to get onto the roof to sweep the chimney. Just a couple of brushes, poles and an old sheet is all you need.

  • never heard such a load of bull in all my life

this guy is a total con man doh like nobody could do it themselves, set of brushes ,an old sheet,

masking tape 100 euro at the most and thats only

one initial payment free charge for the rest of your life then

  • total waste of time...

  • in what way is this remotely helpful?

  • well ima get up on the roof today because i heard it was gonna snow, I just have the brush so i'll do the best i can w/ out falling!

  • dork! he's mr. college guy!

  • well theres 1:11 of my life I wont ever get back....

  • This video should be deleted and that man should be shot. He sucks and hes ugly.

  • A brush, extension rods, and maybe a scout brush are all you need to sweep your own chimney. It's not rocket science. The equipment needed may cost about $150-$200 which in some cases is the cost of one cleaning. Hire a sweep and watch him do the job. Afterward, you'll have all the trainging you need to do the job yourself for as long as you own the home. Questions? Contact me.

  • This explained nothing.

The title should be, "How to pick up a phone and call someone to do the job for you."
