you have to make your base line clothing way wider, because it curves on the model. if it's too narrow it won't connect properly, as you can tell by the video.

I am having a problem though, it seems to work fine on a biped but not on my own model, Max crashes whenever I click OK to select the "collision objects" do the objects have to have some specific properties? editible mesh or something??? I have tried unrigging it? if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it...

@Minotour This is a good tutorial for very basic beginings, good job , however on a fully rigged and skinned model the seams in your clothes will fly apart if there is ANY movement whatsoever.

@AthlonJedi actually, if you do the clothes before rigging, attach them and texture them as part of the original mesh and rig only after that, it works perfectly fine.

@audayhussain2  Dude you have to animate the biped, obviously, but then you can simply add a light in and the shadow will appear as long as you have a floor surface.

I think it'd be best done by doing a sticky cloth group and selecting all the vertices to apply it to all of it and have it sort of stick to the surface a bit and change the texture to something shinier.
