Take your duckweed put them in trays and freeze them. Then when time to feed you can take your frozen block of duckweed toss it in the tank and the fish will eat off it as it thaws. As you know when removing the duckweed from the tank it will give room for more to grow.

I think you will find the fish dont grow very fast on the duckweed , its 95% water ,
if you want later you might try to dry it and add to normal fish food, it dries well
