Roseanne is a vile human being! Although this show is a classic, which I enjoy, I would shoot stuff and place her fat ass as a head trophy on my mantel! If she is one of the 99%, why don't she give her millions of dollars away?? Jus like every other super rich person who supports those rats, They want to have their cake and eat it to!! Something was lost for me in the last 2 seasons of "Roseanne". The humor and real life characters went by the wayside-I thought they spent too much time on David/Darlene's turmoil. But I did love Roseanne's crazy mother-especially when she got busted driving drunk.

I always liked seeing cameos by great actors too, but the lottery and "Ernest" as the prince lacked any real fun.

I disliked it very much-they spent too much time on just Darlene's life. They made a new character after Becky left-her name was Becky(Sarah Chalke)who was nothing like the first Becky. And then the worst Fred&Jackie-Fred was a spineless weinie. Compare the first 3 seasons to the last 3. They had flat back stories and sour characters. What happened to the people Rosie worked with at the plant or Bonnie-the Lobo. Real stories.

@gravelandgrain100 Lacey left and Sarah wasnt a good actress and couldnt do the jokes which was painfully obvious. They also were going through the times i mean by this day and age the family relationship was a series of jokes at someone elses expense (ex home improvement)  Fred wasnt spineless he was awesome and loved jackie. Also people who she worked with at the plant came in and out of the series as guests. OH and if your life and the ppl in it dont change over 8 years... thats sad

i don't see how the lameness of Home improvement has anything to do with this show?!? This was a good tv show that IMO had lost it's way and instead of just ending before the last 2 seasons kept going-and it appeared to me all the things the producers and Roseanne herself had planned needed pressed in to the show before it ended. I still liked the seasons before the last two, though, The cast had decent chemostry then.

@gravelandgrain100 1. home improvement wasnt lame. 2. i used it as an example of the family dynamics of the day to show that the trend was not exclusive to this show 3. Shows don't end cause YOU think they should. YOU aren't the center of the universe. so if the producers and writers thought there was more to the story that needed to be told it was there right to tell it. no one made you watch.

@gravelandgrain100 lastly, if you fail to see the brilliance in the last episode that is your problem. People lose jobs, the individuals in our life change over time, even the best husbands die, sometimes people lose grip of reality in the face of great tragedy. The writers captured all of this in beautifully. If the last season was unrealistic its cause IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE. If you are looking for cheap laughs and happy endings may I suggest full house

this show is classic, i know alot of people didnt and dont like it but it was groundbreaking in the fact that it gave a major fuck you to faggoty shows like Full House and Family Matters and it gave a raw, livid picture of the poor suburban family who cant catch a break, no type written plot where the same shit happens and happy ending, sometimes tragic sometimes good but always entertaining, and it showed how difficult it was for a woman to live that sort of life....genius!!!
