  • Sticking a starter jack up the arse of that thing must be absolutely terrifying but an incredible thing to do!

  • dulce sonido para el deleite de los dioses........

  • it´s prost car, it´s ok to destroy it

  • ピット内の音はcbxみたい

  • THAT´S THE TRULLY F1 CAR ! THE REAL SOUND !

Not the nowadays F1 cars, or so called "Schumacher era", Alonso, Button, Vettel ans so on.

From the last 5 or 10 years the F1 cars became more and more ugly , they don´t look like a F1 car NEVER.

  • This is a very very nice car :)

  • And it didn't have no cheap-ass KERS or cheat wing.

  • One of the Greats!

  • has anyone tried listening to this video with earphones? it sounds like you are in the same room. so dynamic. :)

  • That´s THE REAL FORMULA ONE Car !!!. It makes the difference between men and boys. True drivers drove cars like this. The nowadays F1´s cars are too much uglies,

they don´t look like Formula One cars. They are such a kind of "De Luxe GP2", only to be driven by boys, or who knows for beginners.

The Formula One is splited at "B.S. and A.S." : "Before Senna and After Senna"

  • I miss the wider look of the old cars. I like the modern cars but they still look too damn narrow .Its just kinda odd

  • no dice el ponja pelotudo!! que mierda sabe

  • ホンダは今でも同じエンジンが作れるのかな・・・ もし作れないと、完全にワンオフだ。

  • eargasmic!!!

  • wat a noob

  • Legendary car!

  • F1 is not for everyone...

    Lol

  • 0:10-0:36

    "WOW, WHAT IS THAT SOUND???"

"Nothing, Godzilla just wake up crying"

    *Nuclear Raid alarm on*

AHH THE GOOD TIMES... Almost every sunday seeing Senna, Prost, Mansell, Piquet, Alesi, Patrese, Bergher, Boutsen, Nanini... I was happy and never knew...

  • very sexy is that your lunch in your pants

  • Honda 4ever!

  • il ne sait pas piloter celui la...

  • Pretty technical question here, but does anyone know what team first made the switch to pneumatic valve actuation and when that was?

  • @Ferrariman601: Renault on their V6 Turbo, but only later in that programme. For the NA engines I think Renault or Ilmor/Mercedes about 94(?). I've got an entire book about F1 engines, but I'm too lazy to look it up now.

  • @armorgeddon Thanks!

  • This is a 1989 Mclaren MP4/5 to clear up any confusion. The car Alain Prost drove to his 3rd World Title. this is my favourite sounding F1 car of all time.

  • @chrismcdc2 i agree with you dude. honda engines make the best sound

  • all this for a nip who cant drive, god i wish senna was still with us he would show them how to drive it without spending half the day striping it apart!!! but @

    anikilator1980 this is a 1990 car,which sound awsome might i add,bring back the old days i say!

  • Knock Knock Knock Knock......Who's there? A newb who can't drive an F1 Car out of the pits. LOL Anyone know who this newb is? Must have thought he was driving a Civic!! He could have threw a piston or a valve with all the detonating.

  • @porksniffer Oh shut up...This is a lot harder then you think dude..

  • you would almost think these engines were 2 stroke ,the way they rev

  • Prost aveva messo l'antifurto...

  • @fl74

Sei un Genio, ho riso tantissimo... :-D

  • That car is from 1989.

  • i think this is the most beautiful f1 car ever

  • indeed mate

  • MORE Honda V10 footage. That was the most awesome sounding F1 engine ever!!! I saw it in action in Phoenix. You could hear it for miles around. The V10 shook your chest as it went by. The papers reported that City hall workers couldn't work during practice due to the high decibels.

Incredible. Wish F1 would return to the 3.5 liter V10 and rev limit it to 16K or so. I'm not even interested in F1 and their V8s.

  • It's the same here! V8 sucks :( but this is definetly the best sound in F1 history.

  • awesome! I'm too young to have witnessed the Honda V10 era, but I agree they should return to 3,5 litre V10's and V12's

you can thank Bernie and Max for the 2,4 litre V8's, next thing you know they'll have 1,8 litre V6's...

  • what are they doing ?

  • These are great memories of the yesterdays of Honda F1 glory. Sad thing is that Honda hasn't done nearly as good as they did in pass 10yrs of racing since intro in 00 as BAR? Not real sure about the actual yr. And at last world reccesion on economy forces Honda to withdraw from F1 once again. Hope they'll be back again.

  • It's Mclaren MP 4/5 1989 car. It's Prost's car

  • The all mighty Honda 90's glory with Berger's old ride I wonder where's the number 1 car Senna's car? Mclaren headquarter?

  • MP4/5 No1 car is Senna's Car.

It is Prost's car that it is recorded on this video

  • Ooobs, Sorry u are right, When does Berger Join Mclaren? 91/92? Cause this is the 90 car right?

  • Berger joined McLaren in 1990, so how could this be Prost's 1990 car?

It's Prost's 1989 McLaren MP4/5. The 1990 car is the McLaren MP4/5b, driven by Gerhard Berger and Ayrton Senna.

  • @moguetricky Back when f1 cars were hairy chested 3500cc V10s bellowing and snarling, A real belligerent bark! Fab!

  • Has anyone got similar footage/soundtrack of the early 90s V12 Honda motors?

  • @racinghondasvideo thanks for the correction. I wonder if No.1 Senna's car is sitting in Mclaren's headquarters??

  • @koukiR32 Senna's MP4/5 the Nr 1 car is on display at the Donington Grand Prix Collection museum in England
