Many thanks for the comments on this video post. To answer a few questions: The engine was the original 273 Commando. Yes, it was crazy for me to have sold this fastback, but I went back to school full time for 2 years and had to move from the Pacific Northwest to Boston. I couldn’t stomach the $300 per month for proper indoor storage in Boston and didn’t have a free place to store it in another state. I still miss driving this car.
I agree (with the eyes)... I look at a 1960's car like that moving along and just say to myself, "WOW!" ...And then I think of ALL of the cars of today, including, yes, the fast ones... And you know what? SO WHAT!!! Big Friggin' deal... Oh, yeah, the new Challenger... yeah, yeah, but even still, you know what? It's still trying to capitalize on what WAS. These times are pathetic (END TIMES FOR SURE)... So, I will relax and appreciate those 1960's cars I once had.... And just grin!
bet you got rich off that man, I found an article about a 70 cuda 440, one of the only to have a gloss black exterior with white leather interior, matching numbers, orginal paintjob, all kinds of original paperwork from the factory that someone had stored away, sold it for about 130k.
Interior Color – To answer Sudiste59’s question, this Barracuda had a copper interior.
