Everything these commercials point out as "advantages" over physical books are all essentially meaningless. Kindle holds over 3500 books. Even if you read 100 books a year it will take you almost 35 years to read that many books. So I don't get why "Holding 3500 books" is an advantage. By the time you read that many books your Kindle will be a dinosaur of technology and you will be a fossil.

@flawns Actually I have considered that. However, I (and countless others) would still like for them to tell us whether or not it's for download somewhere. Many companies will post song information on their YouTube videos, even if the song was specifically made for the particular commercial.

Nice homage to the old Apple ads. To be fair though, if books came with a download code to download them after I'd bought them physically the way movies do, I'd be more into it. I like my bookcase with it's hundreds of books and with a Kindle, Nook or iPad I'd have to choose between one or the other. So, allow physical copies to ship with download codes and you'd solve a pretty huge problem.

@fanofcavs I have both. The iPhone 4 is easier on the eyes than the iPad, but nothing compares with the e-ink (Kindle or Nook).

@fanofcavs because the ipad is a tablet while the kindle is an e-reader and it's sole purpose is so you can read books conveniently so it is lighter and smaller than the ipad and it has e-ink which is better for your eyes

To be fair the kindle is shit for reading comics and magazines currently, make the screen expandable to A4-A3 size and full colour then maybe you can run this ad without letting people down
