R1 ? cheaper shit but lots of faults just like all japanese bykes : electronics on board,
troubles with light switchers ( just have a laugh , thats true D ! ) , igition troubles at slow routes, speed display failing at high speeds ( a ticket x your funeral ), and many others ....
I repeat, cheaper stuff x miniature minded people who know nothing of bykes out of oldtime litter clichès & senseless untrue 1way bs : not even close to any Aprilia
RSV4 or mythic Ducati Desmosedici RR , probably the best byke engine ever built.
Ducati & Aprilia are the best road bykes they have greater reliability and they have
something japanese will never have : the most amazing performances by the best engineering, the Italian one !
@funkybeat0 typing on google is the easiest and most senseless thing any can do : you may find whatever u want and its opposite at one time. You should read more carefully to see that Aprilia didnt act like
some other brands ( cars included ) : the recall affected a small part of RSVs production and it was due to a small component in a little quantity of engines that didn't suited the Aprilia quality standards, which was meant as unacceptable
I'd also like to add that no warranty claims related to the problem discovered during
RSVs test controls in January has been reported till now, but Aprilia were very concerned about safe and made everything right to prevent any eventual problem before it happened . Those few engines have been replaced in short time from Aprilia tech personnel in USA .

haha yea. the 08 1000RR was the bike to beat and it sounds like this one has blown it out of the water haha! geez.. looking forward to test riding this one
Actually it is a big bang engine ive read it in 3 different mags now. Thats why in the video it sounds like a twin. All a big bang engine is, its the firing order 2 pistons spark at the same time (hence big bang) and thats what gives it the growling noise as to a screaming noise.
It's not a big bang. It has a cross plane, 90-degree crank and an irregular firing order. Lots of mags have said it's a big bang, but they got the wrong end of the stick. The idea behind it is the same (to give the rear tyre more grip), but this engine is much smoother than a big bang.
For the ones who have ridden several bikes, the sticker tends to say a lot. The manufacturers tend to stick to their typical principles when creating their bikes, year after year, especially when it comes to cutting-edge, supersport bikes. If the Yamaha style fits you, you'll never buy a Honda (well, maybe a 600RR might change your mind). And viceversa.
I'm aware of that.. but I've seen favorable reviews on the Blade as mentioned and now these guys are giving the thumbs up to the R1. I'm just saying - bikes change. Not a lot maybe, but they change. I've got a kawasaki, I've ridden a reasonable number of bikes and
I can't say I like ONE company better then
the other. It depends on the specific models compared.
Even Michael Neeves said that. Dont laugh on me, coz I ride a Honda too. But, I never feel the aggression like the Yamaha. Am just glade that the R1 still rules.
HONDA = No passion. I know that because I own a Honda. I own a honda because its been bought by my parents for me. Personally, I prefer YAMAHA, which my parents wont allow. They think somehow, any 2 wheeler other than YAMAHA has airbags for safety:-)
The R1 grunts out of few corners there.

"Blade?, who needs a Blade?"....strong words for a magazine that absolutely deepthroats the Fireblade in nearly every other review and comparison.

You care for what the sticker says or what's the best bike for you? Or you're gonna ride "The Blade" just because someone else said it's the best?
