one of the best cartoons ever made from any era, its that simple. another great cartoon from that 90's era was Rockos modern life, both brilliant cartoons.
@crazyfooInc He's cramming it with crazy shit about some wizard guy who wants to cook the Warners in a stew and a permanent servant and boyfriend for Dot! How could anyone watch the show if those characters were added...
Glad to hear it; I really do like how much effort WB put into designing the packaging; although it can be a bit flimsy at times the artwork/discs are excellent as demonstrated by the video.
It is! I wish I was alive when this show came out, I missed so much! Also, I saw one of your comments saying you wished Wakko's Wish was on dvd, didn't you know that it is?
It actually did turn out quite good, with a 97% approval rating back when WB screened it to potentially release it in theaters. It certainly would've done quite well with a theatrical release IMO, and yes, it is also worth a purchase. I got mine off of the Playstation Network; excellent quality too, though I will eventually get it on VHS for nostalgia's sake :-D.
@crazyfooInc I think I'll watch it then, but I'll need to find a time when my dad isn't around since he thinks all that stuff is kids-only, and it would be embbarrasing if he saw me watching it. I remember hearing it was tested in theaters, but whether it would do well is debatable since it was so short.
Yeah, I think I'll watch it today or tomorrow. Thank god for youtube, it's the only way I can do it. XD
I always hated it when people made judgments about what I was watching without actually taking time to educate themselves about it; so I eventually said screw it and watch Animaniacs, SWAT KATS, and several other excellent cartoons daily. As for youtube, thankfully many shows, movies, and other programs are still available! :-D
@crazyfooInc I think you and I are in different situations here; my dad likes Animaniacs but he would mock Wakko's Wish. He's not biased against cartoons. It's even worse with my mom, however, when I mentioned this show to her, all she said was "Oh God, I hated it". Apparently she doesn't get any of the references and stuff.
Look up the intro, here on Youtube; it is another absolutely wonderful cartoon that was canceled far too early and still doesn't have a DVD release. :-D
It really is a shame that WB released volumes 1-3 in region 1 only, and that they STILL haven't given us volume 4. Here's hoping that it will eventually be available for purchase everywhere! :-D

@crazyfooInc Oh wait, you're right. Netflix used to have it, but maybe that was just streaming.
Is it good? Cause most direct-to-video movies suck.
