That certainly is a bad roommate, but I don't know who's worse... you or him. You could have confronted him about the issue, had him pay you back, and then moved out or kicked him out. You didn't have to slap your friend with a criminal record for the rest of his life, and then post his picture on YouTube. You're proud of yourself for this? You, and everyone who agrees with your actions here, either lack human compassion or are oblivious to how the real world works. Grow up.

@spirit774 In under 500 characters, this is hard to explain to those who only see black and white. We have all done, or will do, something unlawful in our life. The only real difference between most criminals and those with a clean record, is that half of us are never caught. Usually, people commit crimes due to problems in their life. Being labeled a criminal only makes the problems worse. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time is great advice, but humans are not machines.

@blanknot Personally, having two brothers who constantly steal from my room (it's come to about £150 now), I'm getting a little sick of it, and am having thoughts on setting up a cam because neither one will admit to it, and I'd do exactly the same if I'm honest, I'd have them arrested, and then I'd humiliate them. Do not do the crime if you can't do the time. Theft is such a scumbag act, and deserves a harsh punishment to deter them from doing it again.

fucking roommates always suck... i've only had one good roommate out of 18...

everyone of the other 17 stole from me, didn't pay bills, trashed the apartments, expected me to do their laundry, dishes, ect...

people will take advantage of whoever they can...

Also it shows the other stealing pricks, what can happen when you do such a felony.

I don't think it is nice to do and I am not even certain if this is legal, but I would do it as well, lol. Just to repay the roommate with being a famous asshole....Don't be a prick and the world will be just fine for ya ;)
