Me, myself when i have kids one day i would never let this happen..but think about it for a minute is it not ok for this family because they are common like us ..i mean u see Angelina Jolie Shiloh dress like a straight boy and no one cares..lets face it we let our littles girls dress like boys but when its flipped people want to flip out ..we have to have equality of sexes..but that will never happen..but he a boy he should be in boys scouts ..simple.

But we all know there is a a certain class of PC people out there that think that promoting proper gender roles, and labeling individuals as being of a specific gender, is too judgmmmmmmeeennnntal and doesn't let kids explore their own identity. I think that is a load of crap, but the LGBTA types are all about that theory. A proper male role model and a simple, "No Bobby, you're not a girl" may have been enough to nip this in the bud as Barney Fife would say.

Evolutionarily speaking being gay is a death sentence, and doesn't explain the growing homosexual population, and the studies that have linked homosexuality to certain anatomical anomlies have yet to be accepted scientifically. For the recor I don't even have a problem with gays but transgendered is a whole mess of issues that shouldn't be accepted as being 'born this way'

@12onomicprotv1 I was raised by all women that forced me to play with dolls but I still preferred tonka trunks, legos, and video games so I'm pretty sure they kid has a mind of their own. I used to rip my barbie's heads off and run them over with my tonka trunks so yeah, I'm pretty sure a kid knows what they want to be. I know at FIVE that I didn't want to act like a typical girl and now I'm 19 and guess what, everyone refers to me as a dude due to my mannerisms that I've had since I was a kid.

A 7 year old making life decisions? Seriously? When I was his age I was convinced that I could fly and had to be told repeatedly that I wasn't able too. Thank goodness before I jumped off something high. I'm pretty sure this boy doesn't buy his own clothes, haircuts and toys - an adult do. Apparently there is no male role models around, so the child identified himself with the present mother and older sister. What a surprise. What I assume happened is when they went toy shopping or clothes shopping, when the mom was looking in the boys section, the son probably mentioned that he liked the girl's clothing better, toys too. He didn't do any "formal deciding" or shit, its just what he was naturally drawn to. And I don't see what there is to correct, its not like he is a bad kid, or has bad discipline.

Lots of little boys like girly stuff, and lots of little girls like tomboy stuff, without ending up becoming poster child's of the trans gender community at the ripe age of 7. Where did this little guy even learn about this stuff? I'd say Mom has gender issues with him and is pushing him.
