  • A great story of a sexually deprived Paki and a constipated British slut!

  • I don't get the ending :S

  • 3:49 look how Aziz's face goes from anger, suprise and contrition in seconds.Great actor.

  • great film, dr.Aziz got a good lesson for being a pussy english ass licker, mr rao mustv got popular all the more, and mr fielding finally got married....

lesson learnt: if u are a crazy english bitch who's not been shagged far a long time and visiting india in summers..please do carry a vibrator...it will save some poor indian's life

  • @TheSkirmishes Point taken Good sir!

  • @TheOnefootinthegrave however been to india several times heard story of one white girl went to a restaurant in india wearing shorts and her food was full of jizz

  • @TheSkirmishes Unapropiate comment and plein of filthy suggestion is this of yours.

  • @sinoples lol like i care??

  • Thank you for posting this movie! A Passage to India is a very enjoyable film to watch :)

  • My grand mother had told me of this film years ago And now I have just seen it .. IT was really good thank you for the good film ......

  • Why do they call him Richard when in the book his name is Cyril?? Annoying

  • The BBC made this into a wonderful studio drama in 1965. There's no vast peripheral spectacle but the characters & period feel are intense. Sybil Thorndike has more stature as Mrs Moore & Virginia McKenna, clearly scared stiff of marrying the bigoted Ronnie, is more plausible. Cyril Cusack, Ronald Hines, Zia Mohyeddin & Saeed Jaffrey are all very credible. Well worth seeing on steffsstuff channel.

  • The book is better than the film, but is quite hard. It has a lot of hidden themes, symbols (threes, wasps, kites) and sometimes characters represent things more than are actual people, eg. three main religions are represented by Moore, Aziz, Godbole. I think you should watch the film first, and if you like it then read the book, but the book will take you to another dimension and will require much mental effort - but in the end because of that be more satisfying. Or read "Howard's End" first?

  • @sandrovic1970 Reading is for squares.

  • Thanks for posting this. :)))

  • thank you for this beautiful film, i read the book many years ago, but i prefer the film and particularly the end which is very mooving and human.

  • Aziz: "Mrs. Moore!!!" hhahaa. <3

  • Stella is payed by Mrs. David Lean at the time... Sandra Hotz.

  • Thank you so much for posting this film!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you so much for posting this film, and in high such quality. I had always wanted to see it.

  • Well, I hope you did not think that Stella was the only child from Mrs Moore's second marriage. She also had a son, who was psychic. Godbole understands this without knowing. This was not in the film, as were other vital points. The film just tells the basic story, but you could get that by reading a synopsis - exams test other things.

  • @sandrovic1970 Is the book good in your opinion? People have been saying they prefer the movie, and since you seem to think otherwise, I'd like to know your opinion, as I'm thinking of reading it myself.

  • @XxxkenzaxxX The book has too much details, in my opinion. But also, the scene, where Miss Quested goes to the temple and meets the apes, isn't documented in the book. In total, I would prefer the film.

  • Thank you...I saw the film for exam purpose too. I hope it is true to the book.

  • Mrs. Moore lives on! Loved the film. David Lean was so brilliant. Many thanks!

  • i'm having my exam tomorrow... so thankful for this movie, i was just too lazy to read the f***ing book :P

  • \haha, my sentiments exactly! This really helps understand Forster clearly w/o having to re-read the book so close to exams! Thank you so much!

  • This is like a godsend to me. I got this movie out of my University library and it turned out faulty and here it is, wow what timing.
