So let's compare: if 450 minutes = $50 a month, then we could assume that 700 minutes = $78 a month. This would leave the other $52 to cover the data plans for two iPhones (as listed in the AT&T website). In essence, you are paying $25 for 350 minutes, and $26 for the data plan - only $6 more (provided you split the cost between the two phones). Any iPhone line added on afterwards is $29.99: $9.99 for the phone, and $20 for the data plan. Unlimited family texting hasn't changed,it' still $30.

So, now I am checking over my plan, and doing a quick comparison From what I pay now as opposed to the new family plan. My current plan breaks down like this: for my iPhone, the plan is $50, unlimited family messaging is $30, and $20 for the data plan - for my fiancé's phone, her monthly cost is $9.99. That totals out to be $110.00 before taxes and fees. For two iPhones, the plan starts at $129, with $30 for the unlimited texting.

I dunno, Steve. Looking at the pricing, it doesn't seem much different. Fo instance, my price last year was $59.99 for a plan, $5.00 for texts and then $20.00 for the unlimited Data Plan. That equals $74.99 a month before taxes and fees. Now the plan is $69.99 a month (with the data service charge) and then $5.00 for the base text plan afterwards. Where is the price difference? Or am I just missing something?

Thank you. Great information. We should ban AT&T and iphone. The $199 and $299 was just something to make the consumer excited. Afterall, 3G iphone is not half the price!! BTW, it still has a 2.0mp camera.
