just an FYI, the standard Swift Truck doesn't not offer those types of accomodations to cook inside of your truck.  You are also in an enclosed area as well. My truck was never that fancy where I could mount something like that to cook on. At last check Swift trucks didn't come with a fridge either so you are roughing it. Hard to eat fresh on the road and Big Cat makes it look too easy LOL!

I may have missed a video when you explained it, but are you using a coleman grill (propane) or using an inverter for the power?

@TeddyRCacher looks like propane to me. you can't pull more than 85 amps thru your cigarette lighter no matter how big your inverter is. if you do have a big inverter, you have to clip it directly to your battery post. most companies (swift) will not let you do that, and will personally cut it out of your truck if they see you doing that.

@franksg384 Don't know who told u that but, No they will not cut it out your truck man lol! Yes (Swift) don't like for us to have BIG inverters on there batteries but, yes there is a but and you will find out more as you driver more and more, you r new so yes they really want you to know that...

@BigCatTrucker Yeah, I was told that if you hard wire it in yourself, then they cut it back out for you if you ever visit the shop. I know you can use small ones and get away with it thru the cigarette lighter or auxillary power outlet or whatever.

@franksg384 85 AMPS????? You can not pull 85 amps thru a cig lighter. 85 amps would blow your 20 amp fuse and if it didn't, would fry your wiring. 85 amps = 1020 watts. You would be hard pressed to 200 - 300 watts in a cig lighter.

@TruckerWarren You're right. I don't do so good with electricity. I probably meant 85 watts. Other than that, no matter how big your inverter is, you would have to clip it onto the battery post to be able to pull more wattage without popping fuses.
