I am a complete novice as to sending pictures on a PC. After watching the Webinar, I've decided to stay with Picasa. So far I've learned something which is more than I can say with the other programs, and I have a camera FULL of great pictures!!! I would feel great if I could just get them organized....Thanks. How can I save the edited copy, separate from the original, into my harddrive folder?

When I used "save as" and renamed it, I could not find the new edited pic.

How do I find a lost album in "My Pictures"? The photos have been tranferred to Picasa, but the album no longer appears in My Pictures.

The face movie video I think is a bit deceptive. It shows a time progression of the little girl to adult.

I can find no way to sort photos and then force it to create the face movie in order. Face movie does its own thing ignoring any sort or order you do.

Please correct me if i am wrong. Not sure why any programmer would not default to doing the photos in order by date. Make SECOND choice the 'smart face movie' choice.

I couldn't agree with you more!!

Picasa UTTERLY IGNORES picture order arrangement and just throws your photographic sequence together into a random grab-bag collage, all jumbled together in no particular way, except being a big incoherent mess.

The video montage of perfectly organized, sequential photos of the little girl growing up before our very eyes is another prime example that GOOGLE relies heavily on deceptive advertising to push its perpetual BETA application platform updates.

Yeah, problem on screen freeze 34:40 to 36:30 should be fixed. It's interesting part.

Great video, learned a lot of basics from it. I am having a problem at 34:40 to 36:30 though. The video does not change at all. I can hear her talking but the screen is the same until 36:30. I have tried two different viewers, Firefox and Chrome. Anyone else had the same issue?

Useful video. I have used Picasa a lot and still learned more tricks by watching this. Eg: how to white balance using the neutral colour picker, how to make grey skies blue with the graduated tint. Thanks.

What I meant is that (working on Picasa) you are not moving photos from (Picasa)Folders to (Picasa) Albums. Organized photos stay in Folders and "copies" are in Albums. At least I hope.... or I just made a terrible mess in my 30,000 photos :)

Anyway, thanks for your good idea to share your knowledge of Picasa. I had your video on one screen and was trying what you were doing on other screen. It is great program and I like it. I got some good ideas from you - Thanks.

Important to know when making Albums, that photos in Album will be only copies of photos from your "shoe boxes"/Files. You will not complicate your photo filing system by making up the Albums.

@boogermann Probably in the Attic or under your bed! He's/she's talking about your old PRINTED photos I think!
