Honesly, this had to be one of the Stupidest Cartoons every! I, however, have to give the poster of this video all of the credit in the world, because now my friends do not thing that I am crazy when I tell them that there was actually a cartoon in the `80's where a teen turned into a car.

It sort of creeps me out the way he turns into a car. I'll give them credit for going into detail, however, when a transformation like this happens (The Michael Jackson's Moonwalker movie comes to mind) usually we simply see a shadow or something happening.

In this, we see every painful move. One of the things that creeps me out for some reason is how he looks back at his back legs as they turn into a car. On top of that, the creepiest part is the way he is smiling while it all happens.

I mean, seriously. This is presumeably the first time this has happened as he is telling the story about what has happened to him. You're telling me he was smiling as his body stretched and molded into a car the first time? I think I would have been a bit more freaked out.

Seriously, I know it sounds weird to say this but they actually SHOULD have drawn him with a =O look on his face as it happened. It would have actually been more realistic without having been weird.

I remember watching episodes of this when I was a little kid; getting warmed up would turn the main character into a car, becoming cold would turn him back into a human.

Funny how back in the 80s you could have a character get zapped with a "science beam" that could do pretty much whatever the show's writers wanted no matter how ludicrous the effect was.

Y'know I used to love this cartoon as a kid... that was back when "Saturday Morning Cartoons" were worth waking up for! Could wake up at like 7am and have HOURS of TV watching fun every Saturday until at least like 11am-noon. And heck, some of them started really early too, like maybe 5am. So 5-6 hours of non stop cartoons every week. The 80s were awesome man. Turbo Teen was just icing on the cake.
