@dshw He didn't ruin them. He only joined the band. The person that ruined them was Robin, one of the guitarists. He wanted Sonic to go down a different musical path, hence the new sound. Don't blame an innocent man when all he wanted to do was help the band. He never did anything wrong.

When he later with The Unguided wanted to perform old SS's songs they couldn't. So they gave a contract to the SS members and everyone signed, except Robin, NB was forcing them to change the music and when that happend Richard left.

I actually really like this new vocalist...and I think they took a good step forward musically. They changed their sound to fit the new member, and didn't try to be something that they aren't anymore. I still prefer the old singer, sure, but what can you do? Bands have to change and adapt:) The only thing I don't like is that guitar tone... but that's just my personal preference! You guys rock! Always have, always will;)
