Top scientist in well funded labs cant even bring forth a new species with controlled experiments and genetic manipulation, using existing materials let alone produce all the various amino acids and proteins to create an organism from nothing. So to assume that happens by chance or naturally, erroneous to begin with.
@lysanderkuz you see biology is real and undeniable where evolution is UN-observed and debatable and has yet to be proven as a fact. What we see in our realm is is adaptation within a species. Even the term "natural selection" is just a concept, a philosophy to try and explain and u understand how this whole complex existence came to exist as it does.

@snurdgerbly I say that because I find the term to be misleading, inaccurate, and intact conflicting since there has yet to be a clear example of evolution in the realm of true biology. It is a philosophy that, to some, precedes facts.
@badfish13 I had a friend mention to me something like what you say about evolution yet he couldn't quite explain it to me. I know how natural selection works yet the actual working force behind the "mutated", and therefore different genes which lead to varying organisms that are to be selected from are unknown (if I'm not mistaken, to the entire world). Could you kindly explain to me why this philosophy precedes the facts so I may do a little research for my personal knowledge? Cheers :)
What's the problem of dreaming and/or speaking big? There are commonly accepted phrases like evolutionary biology and new world order that I think should concern you more. People need to know the important role fungi plays on this planet!
This guy is really clever and clearly fungi are a vital part of the global ecosystem, but it's just these little verbal gaffs that he makes like "mycotopia" and "paradise on earth" that just make me roll my eyes a little bit. He keeps saying awesome thing - then he slips into a brief mental circle-jerk - but then he comes back and says something awesome again. If he could just avoid some of that vague, trendy hippie language and be more specific, he would do wonders spreading these cool ideas!
@icarus313 well he has, he's got patents for a bunch of things. Off the top of my head - mushrooms that infect termites, you put some in the food in infected houses, feed it to the termites, and every termite for several hundred yards will die. Cost - a few bucks to get the shroom in the mail.
Also worked on diseases, agriculture, you name it. So he's backing up the mycotopia with real advancements he brought us all
we need to listen to this guy, he is the Einstein of his generation. he along with a few others have completely revamped what we know about mushrooms.
Paradise would be constant experience, both good and bad. If you change one, then others will change to be a new hue of good and bad. Everything is everyhwere, always has been will be.
You might find (yourself) wondering... "Why are those stately beauties, Amanita muscaria, in the background, behind Paul?" But then I allowed myself to imagine why, "it's because the A. muscaria is the most famous Fairy-Tale, Alice in Wonderland mushroom of all..." Those striking red and white beauties are the best know variant, but I've seen some really elegant buff yellow ones, and even orange ones, too!

How about a world where we do not need a President at all. We can lead ourselves to salvation and stop looking for a savior.
