Hi I was actually browsing your tank and i love it. My tanks looks almost the same, but i have much more soft corals. I was actually wondering do you ever get a light dusting of brownish algae along the glass of your tank? I have had that every since i started the hobby 5 years ago. I wanted to hear from other hobbists. My local hobbby shop says its normal.
If you want to see colours properly you should use black as background. Photographers always do.
Same problem keeping it clean.

@HJ61TurboDiesel That may be the case Turbo but blues and turquose are more reminiscent of tropical seas.

perfect reef big up. Butt i start hating the blue background - it takes the colors of the corals.

it looks like it adds depth to me, i like it, might put one on my 55, but i dunno how he keeps the algea growth down

Question: What is that low pitch gnarly sound that runs in the background. It kind of comes and goes? Very soothing to the ear.....

Beautiful SPS tank.
I am setting up a 4x2x2 shortly & am wondering are you using a refugium for nutrient export as it may be part of my system.
