love, love, love this video....it is so well done that I envy you guys!!!and Herbalizer is one of the best things happened in 90's music scene!!!!! still keep this tune in my car and listen to it when I feel that my mood is on the way to drop down.....
That was SO cool!! Whoever sync'd the video with the music did a remarkable job! I was spellbound. I loved Bogey's line, "Let me know when you want to be killed."
this song came out in the late 90's ....i downloaded it on napster so you know how long ago that was.......think i was still playing leisure suit larry!
This is the coolest all-around video on YT...the best editing, best soundtrack backing it. Bogie gets top-billing in this but Cagney and Mitchum just "kill it".
The clips of Roland Kirk (Rahsaan) were priceless I saw him play multiple saxs at the Vanguard once It was incredible. This is a great montage nice work!!!
And I'll watch anything with Bogie in it but that was so cool! I loved it! What was that clip and the end? Who was in the white head bandage and who was speaking?
It's Bogart saying the line "There's only one place left for me to go". I haven't seen the movie myself yet, but I suspect the clip is from "Dark Passage" (1947) in which Bogart wears a face bandage for much of the movie.
I'll watch anything with James Cagney in it - but your video really stands out as superb! Great editing and storytelling too. Thanks for posting this.

Nice to know there are other noir freaks out there. I'm not alone.
Could do without the hip-hop soundtrack.
Cool jazz or bebop would have been more apropos.
