I would be worried about snakes and brown recluse spiders in my area if I had this pound. But I think if they added some bluegill and bass to this pound they would most likely get to be supersized with all these good bugs to eat in it.
But I would be open to ownning one of these if I lived in a more northern state where the spiders and snakes aren't that bad.
Where I live in the southeaster US, we have to worry about poisonous water moccasins even if there is little to no water around! Is there a way to avoid this and still have a natural swimming pool?
@spunkflunk I think I would add some fish to control these bugs in that these types of bugs they have shown would be very tasty for catfish and bluegill.
What a beautiful thing! My question to everyone building a new swimming pool is: why WOULDN'T you have a natural pool? I see no disadvantages and so many advantages.
