Hey Midge, Any chance of "I Wanna Be With You" being posted here? Was just looking at an old compilation cassette I made while at school which has both of these tracks on it- right next to Spandau Ballet, Joe Jackson, Split Enz, Lee Connolly, The Tubes, The Quick and more!
say hi to Midge for me when anybody sees him and Sid , cheers ; marcel (ex Nelson , ex west coast ex new plymouth ex dutch , ex west canterbury and god knows why i'm still in ch-ch but that's why they invented the blues , right ?
woohooo!!! This is the Master of the Blues in NZ, IMHO - had the pleasure of being at the album release gig on Saturday night after this radio interview - it was one of the defining music performances I've seen - and I've seen lots, believe me. The album (Travel n Time) is stunning - authentic, honest, energetic, roots blues. woohoo!
Brilliant ! Forget the Alamo , Remember the Gluepot - somebody should make an album. Way to go Midge and good on Hauraki.
