OMG. I remember this. You can do down/forward for Hadoken, down/back for hurricane kick, and forward/down-forward for uppercut. throw when you're upclose also.

There's a glitch I remember with the time. If you reach zero, as long as both feet are not touching the ground at the same time, you can still keep going.

Hi, 8bits system means fews capabilities for color for example, snes processor work at 3,5mhz Master system as well, genesis sound is processed with 8bits it just has more channels...One example 8 bits could have up to 256 color with 16bits up to 65536 neither snes or genesis has this benifities.

They buy street fighter 2 for SNES or genesis then the pirates unscrew the game and put it in a illegal pirate copy machine. From there they access any level of the game or music soundtracks on their computer (the illegal pirate copy machine is connected to a computer). After that the illegal pirate copy machine can convert the whole game to 8-bit format or lower. The machine rewrites the game in 8-bit format onto an NES or famicom cartridge.

Ha, I owned this along with a few other knock off Street Fighter games as a kid. This is by far the best of the fakes, the Cony version being the absolute worst. If memory serves, you did specials in that version pressing toward + A + B. =(

this game kept me entertained until i finally went up the gaming ladder to the 16-bit era.

now here are some things i never realized when i had this game:

-all the on-screen characters are even in size. zangief is actually small here?!

-this was not a work of capcom! that explains the false endings.

-the only way to win is to corner your opponent with a jumping puch followed by a sweep. this 8-bit tactic did not work when i tried it at the arcades.

@judgment666 Yeah, the NES isn't capable of the intense graphics that was originally used on the CS1 arcade system. That is why this game was better suited for the SNES, Genesis, and Turbo-Grafix 16.

Fortunately in youtube, you can find just about anything in here. I just watch some of the video of the "other version SF". It is the one with only 9 roster of fighter...... I think it is named SF3. Definately a much better gameplay and you actually pull special move like the way you would in the arcade SF (eg. QCF for hadokien and back front for sonic boom). Most important is that you can pull cheap move like in the Yoko soft version (eg. fighter cannot defend while getting up)
