Mark Felix is a back-heavy puller, and he takes a wide stance and grip. I say experiment and get comfortable with a narrower stance/grip, but you may still end up stronger with the rougher, non-conventional form.
I posted this vid on a couple forums and that's the fourth comment I've gotten on stance and grip width. I guess I need to play around with that to maximize efficiency. I kind of just do what feels natural, but that doesn't mean it's the best way.
As for the stiff leg thing, I definitely am more of a back puller than a leg puller, especially on heavier sets, but I think the angle is slightly deceiving, too. Thanks for the advice. I'm always willing to listen to whatever I can get to help me improve.

Gotcha. Thanks, Joshua. I'm going to look up Mark Felix in hopes of checking out some of his pulls.

yeah, my back tends to round on my heaviest singles as well.
Just got to keep nailing perfect form!

Oh and about the grip:
You may want to place your hands closer; by widening your grip you have further bar displacement from the floor which makes you do more work!

It looks like a stiff leg to me.
So, you can take this approach:
1) Grab the bar, set your grip.
2) Dip down and sit back with your head up and chest out (back as flat as possible) while utilizing your stretch reflex.
3) Rip that shit off the floor.
You may also want to play around with your stance and grip placement as well.
